IN REAL TIME!

 

IN REAL TIME!

 

There USED to be=a television show

CALLED=”ONE DAY AT A TIME”

 

It was about a SINGLE MOTHER=with

Two young girls=trying to

RAISE A FAMILY=and they had to

Deal with REAL=every day problems

 

Today is the BLESSED MOTHER’S birthday=

And we sometimes FORGET

She was real too!=Trying to raise Jesus

And her FAMILY=IN REAL TIME!

She was real!

 

“She will bear  a SON=and

You are to name him Jesus…….”                                                                                    Matthew 1:21

 

We forget=Mary was LIKE US=

In so many ways=she lived

In A REAL TIME=at a real place

First-century Palestine

 

And she had real problems=

She worked hard=she made plans

And=just like us=SHE PRAYED=for

Her family every day=IN REAL TIME!

 

Mary was a real person=a real mother

And Jesus=was=a real person

 

“For my flesh=IS REAL FOOD=and

My blood=is REAL DRINK”                                                                                             John 6:55

 

“These are a shadow=of

The things=that were to come=THE REALITY HOWEVER

Is found in Christ”                                                                                                                 Colossians 2:17

 

Mary EXPERIENCED joys and sorrows=

HAD FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS=and had problems

And questions=in her family

Just like we all do

IN REAL TIME!

 

She did her BEST with Joseph

To be LOVING PARENTS to Jesus=and

RAISE a family=yet there were challenges

Like we all have every day=IN REAL TIME!

 

“She gets up=while it is

Still night=she provides food

FOR HER FAMILY=and portions

For her female servants”                                                                                            Proverbs 31:15

 

“He must manage=HIS OWN FAMILY WELL=

And see that his children=obey him

 

And he must do so=in

A manner=worthy of full respect”                                                                          1 Timothy 3:4

 

“But if a widow=has children

Or grandchildren=these should learn

First of all

 

To put their religion into practice

By caring=for THEIR FOR OWN FAMILY

And so repaying=their parents and grandparents”                                                1 Timothy 5:4

 

Just like the Mother=in

ONE DAY AT A TIME=just like

Your very own Mother

 

MARY did NOT have-a

HOW TO MANUAL=and she didn’t know

What the FUTURE=would bring

 

Her and Joseph=were doing it all

ONE day at a time=with their family

IN REAL TIME!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of the HOLY FAMILY=and the Holy living-loving

Father God!
