OUR PRESENCE=WILL HAVE TO DO

 

Did=You EVER WONDER

What Mary was FEELING=as Jesus

Was being CRUCIFIED on the cross?

 

I am sure=she was HORRIFIED=I

Am sure she felt that this

Really CANNOT BE HAPPENING

But she was there=UNTIL

The bitter end

 

HER PRESENCE=helped him through

Today=WE ACKNOWLEDGE Mary=and

The feast of=OUR LADY OF SORROWS

HOW SORROWFUL=she must have felt

 

How sorrowful=we have to be too

For I WONDER=if we would have

BEEN PRESENT=with Mary

And the BELOVED apostle John too

STANDING=at the foot of the cross

 

Mary was PRESENT THEN=In

A world that is CONTINUING

To turn its back on Jesus=and God

OUR PRESENCE=WILL HAVE TO DO

 

“…….Behold YOUR MOTHER”                                                                                               John 19:27

 

“When Jesus=saw his MOTHER=there

And the disciple=whom he love=STANDING NEARBY-

He said to her’

 

‘Woman=here is YOUR SON’=

And to the disciple=

‘Here is YOUR MOTHER’=From

That time on=This disciple=took her

Into his home”                                                                                                        John 19:26-27

 

Jesus must have been COMFORTED

To KNOW he had John=to leave his mother too=

And that=he had his BEST FRIEND=Mary Magdalene too

 

Bit it was=A SORROWFUL TIME=For Jesus

And his Mother=just as it is

A SORROWFUL time for him today=as

More and more=TURN away from God

 

For you and me=and FOR Jesus

OUR PRESENCE=WILL HAVE TO DO!

 

“Lord=the God of Israel=you

Are righteous!

 

We are left this day=as a remnant

Here we are you=before you=in our guilt=though

Because of it=Not one of us=can stand

IN YOUR PRESENCE”                                                                                                               Ezra 9:15

 

“For Christ did not enter=a sanctuary

Made with human hands=that was

 

Only a copy=of the true one=He

Entered heaven itself=now to appear for us

IN GOD’S PRESENCE”                                                                                                         Hebrews 9:24

 

Our lady of SORROWS=Our lady of compassion=

Dear Mary=we pray that you=and

Your Son Jesus=will be with us=NOW

AND FOREVER=Until the end of time

 

“For the Lord=comforts his people

And will HAVE COMPASSION=on

His afflicted ones”                                                                                                                  Isaiah 49:13

 

Dear Mary=WE ARE SORRY for

THE SORROW=You and your SON felt

In this world

 

PLEASE be with us=IN

OUR PAIN and suffering=in this world=KNOWING

OUR PRESENCE=WILL HAVE TO DO!=until

 

We spend=ALL of eternity=with you=and Jesus

And THE HOLY FATHER GOD!
