FOLLOWING THE GOSPEL LIFE

 

FOLLOWING=THE GOSPEL LIFE

 

Our God=is a

MIGHTY God=Our God is a

POWERFUL GOD=and he will DEFEND US

At all times=Especially if

We are hearing=and FOLOWING

THE GOSPEL LIFE!

 

“O God=by your name

And BY YOUR MIGHT=defend my cause”                                                                                         Psalm 54:3

 

As Christians=AS FOLLOWERS

Of the Gospel life=we are to

STAND UP=against offenses to HUMANITY

In this modern era

 

We should be ASKING God=to PLACE

His loving hand upon=ALL OF US

To defend us=IN our quest=for righteousness

FOLLOWING THE GOSPEL LIFE!

 

“Rise up=O God

And DEFEND YOUR CAUSE=remember

How fools mock you=all day long”                                                                                      Psalm 74:22

 

“Stand up=and judge fairly=

DEFEND THE RIGHTS=of the poor=

And needy”                                                                                                                          Proverbs 31:9

 

“He will vigorously=DEFEND

Their cause=so that he=

May bring rest=to their land”                                                                                                Jeremian 50:34

 

There is so MUCH INJUSTICE

In this world=I really believe

GOD WILL STAND UP=for

Those of us=who continue

FOLLOWING THE GOSPEL LIFE!

 

“Moses summoned all Israel=and said’=

‘Hear=O Israel=the decrees and laws=

I declare in your hearing today=Learn them

And be sure to=FOLLOW THEM’”                                                                                        Deuteronomy 5:1

 

“Surely=your goodness and love=

WILL FOLLOW ME=all

The days of my life”                                                                                                          Psalm 23:6

 

A man=that we CELEBRATE today=is

Saint Peter Claver=he was BORN in Spain

And was SURROUNDED=by comfort and prestige

 

But he came into=THE NEW WORLD=

And stood up=to OPPOSE

The injustice of slavery

 

CHRIST BROUGHT the gospel=and

Saint Peter Claver=LIVED IT= in the 1600’s

 

May all=FOLLOWERS of Christ

And all good people=stand up

To FIGHT INJUSTICE=in today’s world

By=FOLLOWING THE GOSPEL LIFE!

 

“For I am not ashamed

OF THE GOSPEL=because it is

The power of God

 

That brings salvation to everyone=

Who believes=first to the Jew

Then to the Gentile”                                                                                                               Romans 1:16

 

So let us=ALL LIVE

The gospel=like Saint Peter Claver=and follow

The teachings=and GOSPEL LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST!

 

In Jesus’ name= and in the name=of our ever LIVING=EVER LOVING=Holy Father God!
