WORTH THE INVESTMENT!

 

WORTH THE INVESTMENT=

(NOT EARTHLY TREASURES)

 

I used to be=a

A FINANCIAL PLANNER=so I know

PLANNING for the FUTURE=Our retirements

Are very important

 

But I am also a DEVOTEE=of

OUR HOLY FATHER God=and his SON=so

I know it is=EVEN MORE IMPORTANT

To PREPARE for eternity=

For a LIFETIME WITH GOD

 

Our spiritual blessings=OUR SPIRITUAL PREPAREDNESS

Is=WORTH THE INVESTMENT

We make in God

 

We CANNOT take

OUR EARTHLY TREASURES with us

When we leave this world

 

“For when he dies=he shall

TAKE NONE OF IT”                                                                                                                     Psalm 49:18

 

Tre readings today=tell us

The PURSUIT of=

Wealth=power and status

Are futile=and even further

We cannot=TAKE ANY OF IT

Into eternity with us

 

WORTH THE INVESTMENT=Not

Earthly things or treasures=ONLY SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS

Will go with us=INTO ETERNITY

 

“THE SPIRIT OF GOD=has made me=

The breath=of the Almighty=gives me life”                                                                       Job 33:4

 

“…….to REVIVE THE SPIRIT

Of the lowly=and to revive=the

Heart of the contrite”                                                                                                     Isaiah 57:15

 

“I will give them=an

Undivided heart=and put

A NEW SPIRIT=in them

 

I will remove=from them their heart

Of stone=and give them=a heart of flesh”                                                                           Ezekiel 11:19

 

I don’t mean to say=that INVESTING

For our retirements=for the future

Is unimportant

 

HAVING NOTHING=I am certainly more aware

Of that than most

 

I am just saying=KEEP EVERYTHING

In its proper perspective=EARTHLY TREASURES

CANNOT be taken with you=Into the next life

 

SO PREPARE for God=and eternity too

It is=it will be=WORTHY OF INVESTMENT

If we love God=and love others ALWAYS

 

“So don’t be afraid=YOU ARE WORTH

More than many sparrows”                                                                                                        Matthew 10:31

 

“These have come=so that

The proven genuineness=of your faith--------

OF GREATER WORTH----than gold…….”                                                                                   1 Peter 1:7

 

I am just saying=PREPARE FOR ETERNITY=

God the HOLY FATHER=and Jesus=are worth more

Than anything else

 

It is=WORTH THE INVESTMENT=Not

So much earthly things and treasures

 

In Jesus’ name=and the name=of our HOLY FATHER GOD!=our ever WORTHY

EVER LOVING GOD!
