TRUSTING AND FAITH=IN GOD
We are FLAWED INDIVIDUALS=physically
Mentally and spiritually=and often we
Don’t want anyone else=to know
We TRY=and hide our flaws=to
NOT let others know=but God
ALWAYS KNOWS US
We can=ONLY get by=by
TRUSTING IN=and HAVING FAITH
In our God and Jesus=that
THEY will pull us through
“STRETCH OUT=Your hand”
Luke 6:10
Today=Jesus calls out=A MAN
With a withered hand=What FOLLOWS
Is a=COURAGEOUS ACT OF TRUST
The man=steps forward=to be HEALED
And he is=what do we do
WHEN Jesus=calls us to step forward
FLAWS AND ALL
Do we have faith=by
TRUSTING IN JESUS?=do we have
Confidence in Jesus=have TRUST?
“Some TRUST in chariots=and
Some in horses=but we
TRUST IN=the name of
The Lord our God”
Psalm 20:7
“……..then I can answer
Anyone who taunts me=for
I TRUST=in your word”
Psalm 119:42
“TRUST in the Lord=with
All your heart=and lean not
On your own understanding”
Proverbs 3:5
WHEN Jesus heals someone=
He OFTEN asks a person=to
FULFILL a simple request
Today=Jesus asks the man=to SHOW
His woundedness=his weakness=his
VULNERABILITY to the world=NOT
An easy thing to do
But this is=CHRIST’S CALL
To us=to SHOW OUR FAITH
To the world
And reach out=with COURAGE=and
BE BRAVE=and be HEALED
By TRUSTING in our Lord
“Now then=be strong=AND BRAVE=
For Saul your master=is dead
And the people of Judah=have
Anointed me king over them”
2 Samuel=2:7
YES=we are to STEP FORWARD
To God and Jesus=in our imperfections
To be HEALED by them
TRUSTING WITH FAITH
That we can be HEALED
“But he was pierced=for
Our transgressions=he was crushed
For our iniquities
The punishment that brought us=
Peace was on him=and by his wounds
We are HEALED”
Isaiah 53:5
It is CHALLENGING and frightening
To reach out=to the Lord
To SHOW our imperfections and flaws
To all=and be HEALED=but
We must be BRAVE=by TRUSTING
And having FAITH in the Lord!
