ENDURING OUR SUFFERING=

(IN FAITH)

 

It is so AWFUL=to be

IN SUFFERING=to be in pain

And not be able

TO DO anything about it

 

The only thing WORSE=is

WHEN one of our LOVED ONES

Are suffering=and not being able to HELP

Them along=but we just have to stay

IN FAITH=through the grace of God

 

“You are thinking=NOT as God does……..”                                                                               Matthew 16:23

 

In the gospel today=Jesus tells his apostles

ABOUT his upcoming suffering and death

 

How AWFUL=it was for the apostles

ESPECIALLY Peter=who wanted to stop it

HOW POWERLESS HE WAS=how powerless

We are today=to change the COURSE OF HISTORY

Just like Jesus=In FAITH

We have to FACE OUR SUFFERINGS

 

“May his name=ENDURE FOREVER

May it continue=as long=as the sun”                                                                                Psalm 72 :17

 

“IF we ENDURE=we

Will also reign with him”                                                                                                   2 Timothy 2:12

 

“Since you have kept my command=

TO ENDURE PATIENTLY=I will also

Keep you from=

 

The hour of trial=that is going

To come on the whole world=to test

The inhabitants of the earth”                                                                                                    Revelation 3:10

 

Peter wanted to STOP the suffering

Of Jesus=but Jesus=would have

NONE OF IT

 

In the same way=we all KNOW

We will have to

ENDURE OUR OWN crosses=in faith

And patient endurance

ENDRING OUR SUFFERING=In faith

 

“May the God=WHO GIVES ENDURANCE

And encouragement=give you the same

Attitude of mind toward=each other

 

That Christ Jesus has=so that with one mind

And one voice=you may glorify=the God and Father

Of our Lord Jesus Christ”                                                                                                           Romans 15:5-6

 

“Teach the older men=to

Be temperate=worthy of respect=

Self-controlled=and sound in faith

In love=and IN ENDURANCE”                                                                                                       Titus 2:2

 

Dear Lord=we PRAY=that

We have the ENDURANCE and faith

To take our sufferings=as men

And women of God and Jesus=and to live

IN FAITH=just like Jesus

 

And may we ALWAYS HELP

Our Christian brothers and sisters

And all people EVERYWHERE=to CARRY WITH FAITH

The crosses of our life=just like our Jesus

 

ENDURING OUR SUFFERINGS!=(In Faith)

In Jesus’ name=and our FOREVER LIVING Holy Father God!
