RESPONDING LOVINGLY!

RESPONDING LOVINGLY!


The story today tells
Of a fearful RULER
Who oppresses his subjects


And DESTROYS his enemies
In order to
REMAIN in power


“Throw into the river
EVERY BOY
That is born
To the Hebrews........” Exodus 1:22


VIOLENCE has been around
Since the BEGINNING
Of time


But EACH of us
Has a CHOICE in life
In how to RESPOND
To others


Do I respond with LOVE-
Or do I respond
With malice


To the things
That happen to me
In this life?


“All the ways
Of the Lord
Are LOVING and faithful


Toward those
Who keep the demands
Of his covenant” Psalm 25:10


“Keep on LOVING one another
As brothers and sisters” Hebrews 13:1


“Everyone who believes
That Jesus is the CHRIST
Is born of God


And everyone
Who LOVES the Father
LOVES his child as well” 1 John 5:1


We have DAILY CHOICES=
To love more
Or to hate more


We can INCREASE
LOVE in this world
Or decrease it


We might NOT be
Killing anyone


But we shouldn't be
HARDENING our mind-
Having hateful thoughts
Or SPREADING malicious gossip either


We shouldn't be being
NEGATIVE in any way=
But responding in KINDNESS
To one another


RESPONDING LOVINGLY!


“........he has shown KINDNESS
By giving you rain
From heaven


And crops
In their seasons
He provides you


With plenty of food
And fills your hearts
With joy” Acts 14:17


“........in order
That in the coming ages
He might show
Incomparable riches


Of his grace
Expressed in his KINDNESS
To us-
In Christ Jesus” Ephesians 2:3


This world has ENOUGH
Cold-cruel people in it
It doesn't need one more


BE a good Christian=
RESPOND LOVINGLY
With your life


EACH positive-loving action
We choose=LESSENS the violence
In this world


In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our always LOVING-KIND FATHER
