TESTED FAITH=TRIED AND TRUE

TESTED FAITH=TRIED AND TRUE

Any TRUE FOLLOWER
Of God-
Has had their FAITH

TRIED AND TESTED-
Over and over again

I have had mine tested
In big moments=and
In small moments
On a DAILY BASIS

Today we have the story
Of Abraham=a CLASSIC and
True CHALLENGE of faith

God's TEST of Abraham
Is almost UNBELIEVABLE

He is ASKED by God
To burn his child-
His ONLY child

On an altar
Like a sacrificial lamb

It is a test
That most people
Could NOT TAKE

“Then God said='Take your
Son Isaac=your only one-
Whom you love

And go to
The land of Moriah-
There you

Shall offer him up
As a burnt offering........'” Genesis 22:2

I have had several tests
IN my life=tests
That have
THREATENED my life

And tests that CHALLENGE
My faith daily=my
FAITH IN GOD

WHERE did Abraham
FIND the faith
And the courage
To pass this test?

Where do you?
Where do I=FIND
The faith

To pass our tests
And keep on going
On a daily basis?

“If you do not stand
FIRM in your FAITH

You will
Not stand at all” Isaiah 7:9

“Several days later
Felix came
With his wife Drusilla
Who was Jewish

He sent for Paul
And listened to him
As he spoke about
FAITH in Christ Jesus” Acts 24:24

“For in the gospel
The righteousness of God
Is revealed--------

A righteousness that is
BY FAITH
From first to last

Just as it is written=
'The righteous
Will LIVE BY FAITH” Romans 1:17

Abraham's faith WAS TESTED-
Jesus' faith was tested
OUR FAITH is tested too
In big and small matters
On a DAILY BASIS

SOME QUESTIONS for our faith=
Are we consistent in it?
Do we SUPPORT
The orphan and the widow?

Do we VISIT the sick
And support the prisoner?

Do we FORGIVE=and
Are we asking God and OTHERS
For forgiveness of our faults?
Do we SHOW MERCY
To others?

Our faith is CHALLENGED
Every day=maybe NOT as
SEVERLY as Abraham=but tested
Nonetheless

Let us hope and PRAY that
Our tested faith=is both
TRIED AND TRUE

In Jesus' name=and in the name of our FAITH-LOVING GOD
