BEING AWARE=THAT GOD IS PRESENT

BEING AWARE=THAT GOD IS PRESENT

As you read this poem=

Or as you say

Your MORNING PRAYERS

I INVITE you

To take a minute

And think about God

Think about the PRESENCE of God

In your life

“The Lord is NEAR

To all who call upon him........” Psalm 145:18

I am aware

That we LIVE

In the age of TECHNOLOGY

But you don't really need

Technology to be AWARE

Of GOD'S PRESENCE in your life

Think about the PAST

Think about the times

GOD AND JESUS

Have helped you through

NOTHING to unplug

Nothing to download

God and Jesus

Are AWARE with you

They are with you

EVERY SECOND of your life

God is near

BE AWARE

God is present

Even when we

DON'T call him

On the phone

“........to make her holy

Cleansing her by the washing

With water-through the word

And to PRESENT HER

To himself

As a radiant church

Without stain or wrinkle

Or any other blemish

But holy and blameless” Ephesians 5:26-27

“Do your best

To PRESENT YOURSELF

To God=as one approved

A worker=who does not need

To be ashamed=and who

Correctly handles=

The word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15

WHEN we are in trouble

When we are in need

OF GOD'S HELP

We are more likely

To BE AWARE

Of God's presence

For we are in need

Of DIVINE INTERVENTION

We are faithful

We call out

For the PRESENCE OF GOD

“Blessed are those

Who have learned

To acclaim you

We walk in the light

Of your PRESENCE Lord” Psalm 89:15

“For Christ did not

Enter a sanctuary

Made with human hands

That was only a copy

Of the true one

He entered heaven itself

Now to appear for us

IN GOD'S PRESENCE” Hebrews 9:24

Saint Theresa of Lisieux

Compared PRAYER

To a=”CLOSE SHARING”

With a friend

So BE AWARE of

God and Jesus in your life

What could be better

Than SHARING your day

With them=

What could be better

Than BEING IN THEIR PRESENCE

God is NEAR to us today

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our HOLY living-loving FATHER
