LOVING GOD THROUGH IT ALL

 

LOVING GOD=THROUGH IT ALL!

Have you EVER had

Some difficult moments

With GOD=Where you

Wanted to GIVE UP

On him=where you

Wanted to give up ON LIFE

I have=ONLY to find

MY FAITH=getting stronger

In time

CONVERSION MOMENTS=getting stronger

And LOVING GOD

THROUGH IT ALL!

“Has not God-

Made the WISDOM of the world foolish?” 1 Corinthians 1:20

Today we talk about

A COUPLE of CONVERSIONS=

Saint Paul=and Saint Augustine

Everything CHANGED for Paul

As he went from

A KILLER of Christians=

To the biggest CHRISTIAN EVANGELIST

Who ever lived

Saul saw his years

Of faithful study of the LAW

Evaporate in a flash=

On the road to Damascus

Everything CHANGED

CONVERSION stories=

Finding ourselves=and loving God

THROUGH IT ALL!

“He must not be

A recent CONCERT

Or he may become conceited

And fall

Under the same judgment

Of evil” 1 Timothy 3:6

“The Lord has sworn

And will NOT
CHANGE his mind

'You are a priest forever

In the order of Melchizedek'” Psalm 110:4

“If you really

CHANGE your mind

And your actions

And deal with each other justly” Jeremiah 7:5

Two things we KNOW

About God=He does not lie

And he does NOT CHANGE

With his name change

And CONVERSION =

Paul FINDS

That his only teacher is CHRIST CRUCIFIED

And few people

BENEFITED more=from revealing

God's foolishness

Than the great SAINT AUGUSTINE

Whose feast is today

He rebuked Jesus

At every turn=

And FINALLY through his

Mother's prayers=Saint Monica

He CONVERTED to Christianity

And today=

Is a DOCTOR of the CHURCH

He once said=

“Lord-give me CHASTITY=

But not yet”

We all change

Through this world=

WE FIND GOD

And we lose him

I FOUND GOD=when I found

He was the ONLY THING left

From my old world

“I the Lord=DO NOT CHANGE

So you=the descendants of Jacob

Are not destroyed” Malachi 3:6

GOING through the tough times

In life=even LOSING GOD

Stay strong=

You will find NEW ROADS

Like Saint Paul and Saint Augustine

Keep on=

LOVING GOD THROUGH IT ALL!

In the names of Jesus=and our ever GRATEFUL FATHER!
