STRETCHING OUT HIS HAND

Jesus was/IS always

REACHING OUT his hand

To help us

Just as he was

ALWAYS reaching out

For his disciples

Today=Jesus WALKS on water=

And Peter thinks he

Can do it too=

UNTIL HE DOUBTS

“Immediately Jesus stretched out

His hand

And CAUGHT HIM.......” Matthew 14:31

After boldly STEPPING

In the water=

A ghastly fear overtakes Peter

And he BEGINS to sink

But Jesus is immediately there

And he REACHES OUT

To SAVE Peter from drowning

Just as he is there

For US EVERY DAY=

Stretching out his hand

To reach out a hand

And SAVE US

From the disasters of our life

“Who is this

Robed in splendor

Striding forward

In the greatness

OF HIS STRENGTH?” Isaiah 63:1

“She will give birth

To a son

And your are

To give him

The name Jesus

Because he will SAVE

His people

From their sins” Matthew 1:21

“Here is a trustworthy saying

That deserves full acceptance

Christ Jesus came

Into the world

To SAVE sinners--------

Of which=

I am the worst” 1 Timothy 1:15

The great SAINT PAUL

Had it right=Jesus is

Always TRYING to save us

Jesus is always READY

To STRETCH out his hand

And try to HELP US

He helped Paul

He helped Peter=

And he will help ALL of us too

WHEN we are in DOUBT

When we are REACHING OUT

For him

He helps strengthen us

He helps

MAKE US STRONG

“Place me like a seal

Over your heart-

Like a seal=on your arm

For love

Is as STRONG as death........” Song of Songs 8:6

STRONGER=Jesus' life=proved that

When we become

FRIGHTENED of falling

Into the water

Let us

STRETCH OUT our hand

For the hand of JESUS'

The one who

GIVES us COURAGE

OVER DOUBT

HIS HAND is always there

For us

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our EVER LOVING FATHER!
