FACE TO FACE WITH JESUS

 

FACE-TO-FACE WITH JESUS

Are you FACE-TO-FACE

With Jesus every day?

Are you sitting down

With the LORD?

Every day I say

MY PRAYERS=I tell him

My hopes=my dreams=and

MY FEARS=How about you?

Do you do this too?

“........and they were ASTONISHED

At his teaching-

Because he spoke with authority” Luke 4:32

We take so many things

In our modern life

For GRANTED=

Things that others-

In OTHER parts o the world

Would consider MIRACLES

Flipping the switch

For the lights=

Running water=air conditioning

Theses are EVERY DAY MIRACLES

That we would miss

And then think

About the MORNINGS

When we read

And take in

The WORD OF GOD

We think only a LITTLE

About the life and authority

Of the words of Jesus

FACE-TO-FACE with Jesus

Every day miracles

“Many Lord= are asking=

'Who will bring us prosperity?'=

Let the light

OF YOUR FACE

Shine on us” Psalm 4:6

“Therefore have I

Set my FACE like flint

And I know

I will not be

Put to shame” Isaiah 50:7

“For God who said

'Let light

Shine out of darkness'

Made his light

Shine in our hearts

To give us

The light of the knowledge

Of God's glory-displayed in

The FACE OF CHRIST” 2 Corinthians 4:6

FACE-TO-FACE with Jesus=

We forget what it means

For God to have walked among us

In the person of Jesus=

And left behind

Parables=his voice

And his wisdom

He taught us how to live=

It makes me WONDER-

WHY so many of us

Just aren't doing it

Sometimes words are just words=

But when it comes

To Jesus' words=

They are

The words of GOD

And when we read

The WORDS of God=

We are face-to-face

With Jesus

“Heaven and earth

Will pass away

But MY WORDS-

Will never pass away” Matthew 24:35

LIVE by the words of Jesus=

Live with him=FACE-TO-FACE

And you might be astonished

You will LIVE FOREVER TOO

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our EVER FAITHFUL GOD
