DON'T FORGET THE NEEDY

DON'T FORGET THE NEEDY

Today God has HARSH WORDS

For Ezekiel=

And for those who

Are to TAKE CARE of others

Especially those FOCUSED

Only on themselves=and

Their only worldly AMBITIONS

Who have DESIRES for prestige

Instead of

TENDING to their own flock

“WOE to the shepherds

Of Israel-

Who have been pasturing themselves!

Should not shepherds

Rather pasture sheep?” Ezekiel 34:2

As CHRISTIANS in today's world=

We would o well to focus

ON THE NEEDY

How CHALLENGING it is for us

To keep our eyes and heart

On those

Who are IN NEED

DON'T FORGET THE NEEDY!

Don't forget to PRAY

For strength for the weak-

For HEALING for the sick

And for attention

For the INJURED

Don't FORGET THE NEEDY!

“It is a sin

To despise one's neighbor

But BLESSED is the one

Who is kind

TO THE NEEDY” Proverbs 14:21

“Whoever oppresses the poor

Shows contempt

For their MAKER

But whoever is kind

TO THE NEEDY

Honors God” Proverbs 14:31

It is EASY

For us Christians

To point out faults

Of our pastors and priests

But they are

DOING THE BEST

That they can

In this

MOST difficult time

Of the Corona virus

We should all be FOCUSING

ON THE NEEDY

We should all be FOCUSED

On lessening the NEEDS

Of those in poverty

And those FACING RACISM

We should all

Be focused on

HELPING those in need

“The Lord

Will guide you always

He will satisfy your NEEDS

In a sun-drenched land

And will strengthen your frame” Isaiah 58:11

“And my God

Will meet

ALL YOUR NEEDS

According to the riches

Of his glory=in Jesus Christ” Philippians 4:19

“So when you give

TO THE NEEDY=

Do not announce it

With trumpets

As the hypocrites do

In the synagogues

And on the streets

To be honored by others” Matthew 6:2

DON'T FORGET THE NEEDY

In this difficult world

That we LIVE IN

And when you CAN=

If you can do NOTHING ELSE for them=

DON'T FORGET TO PRAY!

In the name of Jesus=and our ALWAYS HELPFUL FATHER
