GOD IS WORKING WITHIN US

 

GOD IS WORKING WITHIN US

We may NOT KNOW it=

But all of us GOD FOLLOWERS-

All of us Jesus followers

Are blessed

With SOMETHING EXTRA

It is called the HOLY SPIRIT

And it comes from God=

God is WORKING WITHIN US

Through the Holy Spirit

“The winds blows

Where it wills

And you can hear

The sound it makes

But you do NOT KNOW

Where it comes from

Or where it goes=

So it is with everyone

Who is BORN

Of the Spirit” John 3:8

Today in the readings=

Nicodemus asks Jesus=humbly

About the kingdom of God

Jesus RESPONDS

With poetic images and DOUBLE MEANINGS

Like the MYSTERY

Of a blowing wind

We can only=UNDERSTAND this

Through EYES OF FAITH

Which Nicodemus=does not yet have

But as MODERN DAY FOLLOWERS

Of Christ=we do

We are BORN AGAIN

We are born of the Spirit=

For Jesus=For God=is indeed

WORKING WITHIN US

“Create in me=a pure heart

O God=

And renew a steadfast SPIRIT

WITHIN ME” Psalm 51:10

“God is SPIRIT

And his worshipers

Must worship=in the SPIRIT

And in truth” John 4:24

“You however=are not in the realm

Of the flesh

But are in the realm

Of the SPIRIT=if indeed

The SPIRIT of God-

Lives in you” Romans 8:9

The wind CANNOT be seen

EXCEPT by the movement

It produces-

In everything it TOUCHES

The same is TRUE

Of the Spirit

Which is=GOD WORKING

IN US=and through us

The effects=of the UNSEEN SPIRIT

Surprises us=the kingdom is

FILLED by everyone

Born of the SPIRIT

Which is us

And because we are

Born of the Spirit=

We are CHANGED by the Spirit

GOD IS WORKING IN US!

“Whatever you do=

WORK at it

With all your heart

As WORKING for the Lord

Not for human masters........” Colossians 3:23

The HOLY SPIRIT

Is at work=within us

UNSEEN=just like the wind

But BUILDING the kingdom

Of God=here on earth=

Just like it is in heaven

In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our EVER WORKING HOLY FATHER!
