SPREADING THE GOSPEL!

The ACTS of the apostles=

Are nicknamed the=

“Gospel of the Holy Spirit”

And is=the WORD OF GOD

The Holy spirit was MOVING

In the early CHRISTIAN apostles

Like Barnabas and Saul(Paul)=they were

SPREADING THE WORD!

Of God

“The word Of God

Continued to SPREAD AND GROW” Acts 12:24

And the two of them=Saul and Barnabas

Continued to SPREAD

The word of God=they were

COMMISSIONED by the early Christian Church

And they were sent from Antioch

To Cyprus=for Paul's

First missionary journey=and

More missionary journeys were to FOLLOW

WE=the modern day disciples of Christ=

May NOT be on a journey today=

But it is STILL

Up to us=to SPREAD THE GOSPEL!

Right where we are=by

LIVING the Word of God

SPREADING THE GOSPEL!

“For I am not ashamed

Of the GOSPEL=

Because it is

The power of God

That brings salvation

To everyone=who believes=

First to the Jew-

Then to the Gentile” Romans 1:16

“He gave me the priestly duty

Of proclaiming=

The GOSPEL of God

So that the Gentiles-

Might become an offering

Acceptable to God-

Sanctified by the Holy Spirit” Romans 15:16

To this day=the CHURCH

Is on a mission

To SPREAD THE GOSPEL=

To spread=the GOOD NEWS

Of the Lord

And we=the

MODERN DAY DISCIPLES

Need to work=to

SPREAD the good news of the Lord

TWO men who worked

To BUILD up the the Church

Were Saint Peter Chanel and

Saint Louis Grignion de Montfort

Louis=even BEFORE he was ordained

Dreamt of founding

A society of MISSIONARIES

He was an enthusiastic PREACHER

And spread

The gospel to other countries

BORN a century later

Peter Chanel=brought the

Message of Christ

From France to Futuna Island-

Northeast of Fiji

He SUFFERED a martyr's death

“For Christ did not send me

To baptize=but to

PREACH THE GOSPEL--------

Not with wisdom

And eloquence=less the

Cross of Christ=

Be emptied of its power” 1 Corinthians 1:17

“For when

I PREACH the GOSPEL

I cannot boast

Since I am compelled

To preach

Woe to me=if I

Do not preach the GOSPEL” 1 Corinthians 9:16

WHERE can we preach

The good news?

Where can we

SPREAD THE GOSPEL?

Are we LIVING EXAMPLES

Of Jesus and the Holy Spirit?

In today's world

In Jesus' name

And in the name=of the SPIRIT of God the Holy Father!
