THE TRIUMPH OF LOVE!
There are a lot
Of very UGLY things in
This world=just like
There was some 2.000 years ago
I WANT to believe
The world is BECOMING
A better place
But then
I watch the evening news=
And that becomes
HARD TO BELIEVE
I want to believe
That HUMAN EFFORT=
Makes a difference
In this world
That we CAN become
A FAMILY OF LOVE=
But the world
Can be
A REAL MEAN place at times
It's going to take God=
It takes Jesus=and the MIRACLE of today
To bring us hope=
It takes the
TRIUMPH OF LOVE!
Over death
“Let us then feast
With JOY in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 5:8
MORE than ever=it is going
To take-
The IMPORTANCE of this day
To bring HOPE
Into this world
It is going to take
THE TRIUMPH OF LOVE!
“Your gates
Will always stand open
They will never be shut
Day or night=
So that people may bring you
The wealth of nations
Their kings led
In TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION” Isaiah 60:11
“But thanks be to God
Who always leads us=as captives
IN CHRIST'S TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION
And uses us=to spread
The aroma of the knowledge
Of him everywhere” 2 Corinthians 2:14
THE TRIUMPH OF LOVE!
The triumph of
Christ's victory=love over death
Without Jesus' saving act
We would be=WITHOUT HOPE
The RESURRECTION of Jesus alone
Is the assurance
Of the TRIUMPH OF LOVE!=
Over all that is dark
In this world
“And having-
Disarmed the powers=and authorities
He made a public spectacle
Of them=
TRIUMPHING over them
By the cross” Colossians 2:15
Because of Jesus-
Because of EASTER SUNDAY=
We can live today=and every day
With our heads held up
THE TRIUMPH OF LOVE!
Jesus=HOPE=over the cross of death
The seeds of hope
Are planted=
By the TRIUMPH
Of Jesus' love
What we could NOT DO
By ourselves=
God has done for us
We REST today-
And give thanks to the Lord
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
I love you=LIVE with hope
In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING FATHER
