JOYS AND SORROWS

JOYS AND SORROWS

When you THINK BACK

About your life=REMINISCE=

Don't you find

That your life is a MIXTURE

Of ups and downs?

A mixture of JOYS

And sorrows=

Jesus' life=was no different

“And Jesus said to them=

'Thus it is written

That the CHRIST=would suffer

And RISE from the dead

On the third day........'” Luke 24:26

Jesus SHARED fully

In the human life=

In both

The JOYS and the sorrows

But Jesus' final experience

Of life was JOY=

He rose from the dead

Suffering and crucifixion

Gave way to the RESURRECTION

And this resurrection

Brought an ECSTATIC JOY

To Jesus' life

A life that would last FOREVER=

FINDING the joys in life

“Fill my heart

With JOY=

When their grain

And new wine abound” Psalm 4:7

“The prospect

Of the righteous=is JOY

But the hopes of the wicked

Come to nothing” Proverbs 10:28

“Gladness and JOY

Will overtake them

And sorrow and sighing

Will fall away” Isaiah 51:11

Jesus' life=after sorrow

Wound up in JOY

And Jesus told us

That what happened to him

Would happen to us

That he was

GOING to PREPARE

A place for us

So that where he was

We would also BE

“And if I go

And PREPARE a place

For you

I will come back

And take you=to be with me

That you also may be

WHERE I am” John 14:3

Yes=after much sorrow

In this life=like Jesus

We are DESTINED

To live and SHARE in

Jesus' resurrected life

Our joy will be

No longer partial or TEMPORARY

But will be ecstatic and ETERNAL

Just like Jesus

“Though you have=NOT seen him

You love him

And even though

You do not see him now

You believe in him

And are filled

With an inexpressible and GLORIOUS JOY

For you are receiving

The end result

Of your faith=

The salvation of your souls” 1 Peter 1:8

My dear friends=

We may EXPERIENCE

Some sorrow in this life

But when this life is over

We can look forward to

SPENDING ETERNAL JOY

With Jesus and the HOLY FATHER GOD!

In Jesus' name
