OUR CONVERSION MOMENT!
I think we ALL
Have had a CONVERSION MOMENT
In our life
That either propelled us
TOWARD GOD=or took us
AWAY from God
For me=it was my DEATH BED
Experience=when I was 22=and
Waking up seven days later ALIVE
It left me=with NO DOUBT
That God=is alive in
THIS WORLD=and is
A force FOR LIFE
OUR CONVERSION MOMENT!
“On his journey=as he
Was nearing Damascus=
A light=from the sky
Suddenly flashed around him=
HE FELL to the ground=
And HEARD a voice.......” Acts 9:3-4
And Saul was NEVER
The same again=he would go on
To BECOME PAUL=
The greatest Christian evangelist
The world has ever seen
How about you?
WHEN did you experience
YOUR conversion moment?
What was involved?
Our conversion moments
Are NOT always as DRAMATIC
As they were with
Paul and me
“........that the mirth
Of the wicked=is brief
The joy of the godless
Lasts but a MOMENT” Job 20:5
“For his anger lasts
Only a MOMENT-
But his favors=lasts a lifetime
Weeping may stay for the night
But rejoicing
Comes in the morning” Psalm 30:5
Yes it is a good time
TO RECALL
Our conversion moments
It is a good time=to THINK ABOUT
What TURNED US toward God=
What brought us
CLOSER to God
Think about what brought you
BACK TOWARD FAITH=
Think about what turned you toward
The way of God=
The way of TRUTH=
OUR CONVERSION MOMENT!
“TURN to me=and be saved
All you ends
Of the earth
For I am God=
And there is no other” Isaiah 45:22
“They must TURN from evil
And do good=
They must seek peace=and pursue it” 1 Peter 3:11
Yes my friends=
Think about your life=and what
TURNED you toward God
Think about
YOUR CONVERSION MOMENT!
This moment can be hard
Or soft=quick or slow
But we ALL HAVE THEM
Just like Paul-
Just like me-
OUR CONVERSION MOMENTS!
In the name of Jesus=and our ALWAYS true and faithful HOLY FATHER!
