ALL IS POSSIBLE=LIVING WITH HOPE!

 

ALL IS POSSIBLE=LIVING WITH HOPE!

 

No matter how DIFFICULT

Our situations are=

How difficult=our lives may be

We should=LIVE WITH HOPE!

 

For our God=our Jesus

WALKS our journeys

With us

 

ALL IS POSSIBLE=

LIVING WITH HOPE!

“He believed=HOPING AGAINST HOPE…….”                                                                         Romans 4:18

 

What a POWERFUL PHRASE-

Hoping against hope is

 

And we see how it

Benefitted two men

In our readings today=ABRAHAM AND JOSEPH

Whose feast it is today

 

It is applied

To Abraham and to Sarah

Who had a child

Very late in life

 

HOPING AGAINST HOPE=

ALL IS POSSIBLE!

With the Lord

All is possible=when you are

LIVING WITH HOPE!

 

It was POSSIBLE for

Our Joseph=the stepfather

Of our LIVING GOD!

 

Abraham had that child

And is the FATHER

Of many nations

 

Joseph QUESTIONED the

Possibility and worth

Of taking Mary=as his bride

 

Both cases turned out OK=

ALL IS POSSIBLE!

When we are living with HOPE

Putting our hope=IN the Lord

 

“Jesus looked at them=and said

‘With man this is impossible

But with God=ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE’”                                                                         Matthew 19:26

 

“If you can?’ said Jesus

‘Everything is POSSIBLE=for the one

Who believes’”                                                                                                                            Mark 9:23

 

“If it is POSSIBLE

As far as=it depends

On you-

Live with peace with everyone”                                                                                          Romans 12:18

 

BOTH of these men

Were just like us

 

They HOPED against HOPE

Trusted yet hesitated

Believed=yet questioned

 

They had faith=BUT WERE UNSURE

And most of all

They LIVED WITH HOPE!

 

They believed

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

With God=Living with Hope

 

“PUT YOUR HOPE=in God

For I will yet praise him

My Savior=and MY GOD”                                                                                                        Psalm 42:5

 

“Command those=who are rich

In this present world

 

Not to be arrogant-

Nor to put their HOPE

In wealth

 

Which is so uncertain

But to=PUT THEIR HOPE

IN GOD

 

Who richly provides us

With everything=for our enjoyment”                                                                     2 Timothy 6:17

 

Abraham and Joseph believed=

Hoping against hope=

And they had their HOPE FULFILLED

 

So will we=if we believe

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

With God

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy Father God

Who FILLS US WITH HOPE!
