THE WIND AND GOD

“The Wind and God”

 

 

We don’t see the wind

But we can feel it

We know

That it is there

 

We don’t see God

But we can feel him

We know

He is there

 

The wind

Moves our sailboat

Through the water

 

We try to control

Where we are going

Most of the time successful

But sometimes not

 

Like the wind on the water

Let the spirit move in us

Like the wind on the water

Let us be open to God

To where he wants

To move us

 

Like the wind on the water

Let the spirit be alive

Like the boat on the water

Let us be open to the spirit

And where he wants

To move us

 

Like all of mankind

Should be

Spirit

Help us be open

To God’s word in us
