OPENING OURSELVES UP!
Many of the elders=
Regarded Jesus=as a prophet
But many of the others
Regarded him
As an ANNOYING UPSTART
They wondered WHO he was
To judge them=
LITTLE did they know
That he was=The SON OF GOD
They all knew=the religious law
And the teachings
And followed them
But they didn’t know
The LAW OF LOVE
The love that Jesus
WAS LIVING and teaching
Do we know
THE LAW OF LOVE?
OPENING OURSELVES UP!
In faith=to the LAW OF LOVE
“Therefore=I say to you=
The kingdom of God
Will be taken away
From you
And given to a people
That will=PRODUCE ITS FRUIT”
Matthew 21:43
Jesus KNEW=that following laws
Wasn’t all=that the ALMIGHTY FATHER
Required of us
Do we know that?
Do we know=the laws OF LOVE?
OPENING OURSELVES UP!=in faith
They asked Jesus
What was the greatest commandment
“Jesus replied=
‘LOVE the Lord your God
With all your heart=
And with all
Your soul=and with=all your mind’
This is=the first
And greatest commandment
And the second is like it
‘LOVE your neighbor
As yourself’
All the Law=and the prophets
Hang on these two commandments”
Matthew 22:37-40
OPENING OURSELVES UP!
To the laws of GOD
OPENING OURSELVES UP
To the laws of Jesus
In love=and in FAITH
The HOPE of eternal life
Wasn’t theoretical for Jesus=
And he proved it
By RISING from the dead
He lived=and FOLLOWED
The laws of HIS FATHER
He followed the=PROMISES OF GOD
He was CONFIDENT in this
“I am
The living bread=that came down
From heaven
Whoever eats this bread
WILL LIVE FOREVER”
John 6:51
When we=OPEN OURSELVES UP!
To a faith
That is MORE than words
That involves actions
We PRODUCE FRUIT
For the Kingdom of God
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER=living-loving
Holy Father God!
