PRAYING FOR AN INTIMATE ENCOUNTER=

(With the Lord=this Lent)

 

It is so EASY=this Lent

IF we just follow the minimum

REQUIREMENTS of our Lord

 

If we do that-

WHEN these 40 days

Are over=

We will feel empty=and disappointed

 

But what is it

This LENT

That you and I=truly want?

 

I want to look for

And have

A DEEP PERSONAL ENCOUNTER

With our Lord

 

About EVERYTHING

That is going on

INSIDE of me=and everything

And everything that is

Going on=IN THIS WORLD

 

PRAYING for a DEEP

INTIMATE ENCOUNTER

With our Lord

THIS LENT!

 

“Rend your hearts-NOT your garments……..”                                                               Joel 2:13

 

This is NOT

Something that we

Can accomplish=on our own

 

It takes the Lord

To want this

For us as well

 

It takes a GRACE

OFFERED BY HIM

And a grace accepted by us

PRAYING for that

INTIMATE ENCOUNTER THIS LENT!

 

“You are

The most excellent=of men

 

And your lips

Have been anointed=WITH GRACE=

Since God has blessed you forever”                                                                              Psalm 45:2

 

“For the law

Was given through Moses

GRACE and truth=

Came through Jesus Christ”                                                                                             John 1:17

 

“Now I commit you

To God=and to the word

OF HIS GRACE

 

Which can build you up

And give you=an inheritance

Among all those

Who are sanctified”                                                                                                       Acts 20:32

 

Looking for a DEEP ENCOUNTER

With our Lord=this LENT

How about you?

What are you looking for?

I am PRAYING for that

For me=and for you

 

We TRUST that God

Wants to MEET WITH US

Encounter with us too!

 

God wants this encounter

With us=

Even MORE DEEPLY than we do

 

“……..not giving up

MEETING TOGETHER

 

As some=are in the habit

Of doing

But encouraging one another-------

 

And all the more

As you see the DAY approaching”                                                                         Hebrews 10:25

 

As Lent begins=

In addition to PRAYING

And fasting

 

Let us=TURN to the Lord

FOR THE GRACE=of an

INTIMATE-PERSONAL ENCOUNTER

With the Lord!

 

Dear Lord=please

OPEN UP=all of our HEARTS

This Lent

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy Father God=our DEEPLY PERSONAL LORD!
