THE PRICELESS GIFTS OF GOD

Today=we READ about Sheba (modern day

Yemen)=and their QUEEN taking PRICELESS GIFTS

for and to SOLOMON

These GIFTS are--------fine spices

And jewels=but she explains that

She is HONORING Solomon

NOT for his wealth=splendor=

Or power= bur for his 

WISDOM & JUSTICE

And those are=THE PRICELESS 

GIFTS OF GOD=wisdom and justice

“He will make JUSTICE

Dawn for you

Like the LIGHT”                                                                                                      Psalm 37:6

We ALL know the story of

SOLOMON=the SON OF David=

When God tells him that he

CAN HAVE any gift that he wants

He CHOOSES the gift of WISOM=

MAY we all learn to do

Just that=and live with THE PRICELESS GIFTS

Of wisdom and justice

And NOT be searching for the gifts

Of jewels=wealth and fame

The PRICELESS GIFTS of God

Are WISDOM and JUSTICE

“The fear of the LORD

Is the

BEGINNING of wisdom

All who follow

His precepts

Have good understanding

To him

BELONGS eternal praise”                                                                                       Psalm 111:10

“For the Lord-

GIVES WISDOM=

From his mouth

Come knowledge

And UNDERSTANDING”                                                                                       Proverbs 2:6

“Brothers and sisters

Choose 7 men

From among you

Who are KNOWN

To be FULL of the SPIRIT

And wisdom

We will TURN this RESPONSIBILITY

Over to them”                                                                                                             Acts 6:3-4

Dear Lord=like Solomon=we CHOOSE

The PRICELESS GIFTS of God=

Wisdom and understanding=and JUSTICE

UNFORTUNATELY=thousands of years later=

MANY of us are still looking

For wealth and power

The queen EXPOSED this myth

Many years ago=wealth and power

Are NOT the shiniest gifts

But the WISDOM and JUSTICE

That GOD GIVES us

To live with

It is RIGHTEOUSNESS that shines

It is JUSTICE that shines=let us live=

With the GOD-LIKENESS of Jesus=

The justice of God=and

The WISDOM of Solomon

“The Lord is known

By his

ACTS OF JUSTICE

The wicked are ensnared

By the work of their hands”                                                                                Psalm 9:16

“When JUSTICE is done

It brings joy

For the RIGHTEOUS 

But terror to evildoers”                                                                                         Proverbs 21:15

The BIBLE pays tribute

To those PRICELESS GIFTS

Of wisdom and justice

Dear LORD=we pray that we

LIVE with the WISDOM and JUSTICE

Of God and Jesus=and our dear brother

King Solomon

MAY our wisdom and justice=SHINE

And RISE like the morning sun 

In Jesus' name=may we all FIND the PRICELESS GIFTS OF GOD
