FIGHTING THROUGH OUR HARD TIMES

FIGHTING THROUGH=OUR HARD TIMES

We certainly

Have some HARD TIMES

In our world today

But so did Saint Patrick

And he FOUGHT

And prayed HIS WAY

All through them

His life is an

INSPIRATION to all of us=

He TRUSTED in the Lord

THROUGH ALL=THE HARD TIMES

He STAYED GREEN=

Which is

The color of HOPE

“Blessed is the man-

Who TRUSTS in the Lord

Whose hope=is the Lord

He is=like a tree

Planted beside the waters

That stretches out its roots

In the stream

It fears NOT

The heat=when it comes

Its leaves=STAY GREEN

In the year of drought

It shows no distress

And still bears fruit”                                                                                            Jeremiah 17:7-8

FIGHTING THROUGHT THE HARD TIMES

Like Saint Patrick=

And bearing fruit=for the world

Saint Patrick was CAPTURED

By pirates at 16

And FORCED into servitude

In the land of IRELAND

He dreamed of escape

To his OLD HOME=

Clinging to his FAITH-

Throughout his ordeal=

He escaped and returned home

But he CAME BACK

To Ireland=became a bishop

And worked to

CONVERT the pagans of Ireland

Having FAITH through it all=

FIGHTING THROUGH=the hard times

OF LIFE

“All the ways

Of the Lord

Are loving and FAITHFUL

Toward those

Who keep the commands

Of the covenant”                                                                                                                     Psalm 25:10

“Be joyful in hope-

Patient in affliction

FAITHFUL IN PRAYER”                                                                                                       Romans 12:12

Saint Patrick=is like

The tree Jeremiah describes

He STAYS GREEN

And faithful=and FIFGHTS THROUGH

THE HARD TIMES=of life

May we all=DO THE SAME=

Saint Patrick=Pray for us

That we can BEAR FRUIT

Just like you

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever GREEN and FAITHFUL=Holy Father God!
