CREATING ROOM FOR GOD=IN OUR LIVES

 

Many of us

Have such BUSY LIVES=

We often

FORGET about God

 

We need to SET ASIDE

SOME TIME-every day

And just THINK about God

Praying to God

 

In fact=I challenge you all

To make him

NUMBER ONE=in your life

 

“MY SACRIFICE=O God

Is a contrite spirit=

 

A heart contrite

And humbled=O God

You will not spurn”                                                                                                                          Psalm 51:19

 

I challenge you all

To SET some time

Aside for God

 

I challenge you all

To make God

NUMBER ONE=in your life

Make some time for God

Maybe the first thing

 

Every morning=or last thing

Every night=SACRIFICE

CREATING ROOM

In your life=For God

 

“Sow righteousness for yourselves-

Reap the fruit=of unfailing love

 

And break up

Your unplowed ground=

For it is TIME

To seek the Lord

 

Until he comes

And showers his righteousness

On you”                                                                                                                             Hosea 10:12

 

“For this is how

The promise was stated=

 

‘At the APPOINTED TIME

I will respond

And Sarah=will have a son’”                                                                                           Romans 9:9

 

“So Christ was sacrificed

Once=to take away

The sins of many

 

And he will appear

A second TIME

 

NOT to bear sin

But to bring salvation

To those=who are waiting for him”                                                                                        Hebrews 9:28

 

ALL the saints=KNOWN

And unknown=are some examples

Of those

Who CREATED ROOM FOR GOD

 

But today=we CELEBRATE=

Saint Frances of Rome

Who was

AN EXAMPLE for us all

 

She was a fitting PATRONESS

For lost souls=and the poor=

But she was also

A wife and a mother

 

Yet she still had

ROOM FOR GOD=in her life

Yes=God and FAMILY

Was number ONE with her

 

We should all

LIVE THAT WAY

 

“A friend=loves at ALL TIMES

And a brother is born

For a TIME of adversity”                                                                                                 Proverbs 17:17

 

When we HUMBLE our hearts

And set ASIDE TIME

For God=he notices

 

May we learn to

Live and serve others

Like Saint Frances of Rome

And CREATE ROOM FOR GOD-

In our lives

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=Of our Holy Father God=who always has

TIME AND ROOM for us
