CHILDREN OF GOD!

 

CHILDREN OF GOD!

 

Today is FATHER’S DAY

And we all

Have earthly Fathers

 

My Father was GREAT!

He is gone OVER

Twenty years now=

He was kind=he was loving

And he was FUNNY

We were GREAT FRIENDS too!

 

But we all

Have a HEAVENLY FATHER too=

He loves us=Just like

Our very own Father did

We are all=CHILDREN OF GOD!

 

“Honor your FATHER

And your mother

 

So that you

May live long=in the land

The Lord your God=is giving you”                                                                                         Deuteronomy 20:12

 

“A FATHERR to the fatherless=

A defender of widows

Is GOD=in his holy dwelling”                                                                                            Psalm 68:5

 

God the Holy Father

Is our TRUE PARENT=

He loves you=with an INFINITE LOVE

 

He is always WAITING

With open arms

To receive us back

 

He always has MERCY

And forgiveness=for us

 

I think of our FATHER GOD

Like the Father=in Luke 15=

Waiting to take us back

Like the Father

Of the Prodigal Son did

 

Going OUT OF HIS WAY

For one lost coin

One lost sheep

ONE LOST SON=in search

Of finding himself

And he will=CELEBRATE WITH US!

 

“But the FATHER

Said to his servants’=

 

‘QUICK!=bring the best robe

And put it on  him

Put a ring=on his finger

And sandals on his feet

 

Bring the fatted calf

And kill it=

Let’s have a feast

And CELEBRATE

 

For this son of mine

Was dead=and is alive again

 

He was lost=

And is found=so they began to celebrate’”                                                                          Luke 15:22-24

 

That is the way

OUR HEAVENLY FATHER

Feels about us=he loves us=and

Wants to CELEBRATE=with us

 

We are his children

We are=

CHILDREN OF GOD!

 

And just like any GOOD FATHER=

He leaves us an INHERITANCE

He wants to LIVE

With us=in the ETERNAL KINGDOM

Of God our Father

 

CHILDREN OF GOD!

What a blessing that that is

 

“THIS INHERITANCE

Is kept in heaven=for you

 

Who through faith-

Are shielded by God’s power=

Until the coming of the salvation

That is ready=to be revealed

In the last time”                                                                                                                    1 Peter 1:4

Out there
