To God

I made a promise

Of Love

I made a promise

To love all others

But I can only do it

With your help

And the help

Of the God of Love

 

The one true God

Our God from up above

 

One thing

I know for certain

Is that God

Does not play any favorites

He loves us all

With an equal appreciation

For us and our lives

 

It is up

To all of us

To respond

And answer God’s call

 

The one true God

The God of Love

The one true God

Who knows all our secrets

But still accepts us

Because

That is what our God  is

The God

Our God—Our God—of Love

 

The God of unconditional love

 

I made a promise

To God

I made a promise of love

 

If there is anything

That I can do

To help bring God’s love

Into  the world today

 

I am going to do it

Because

I made a promise to God

To

Our unconditional God of love
