WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS!
There has been
SO MUCH EVIL=in the world
Over these past few years
I sometimes WONDER
What is it=GOING TO TAKE
To turn this world
BACK TO GOD
I think it is
Going to take
EVERY single one of us
Turning our lives=back to God
WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS!
And making God number one
And our family 1a or two
IN OUR LIVES
WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS!
Loving God=and loving Jesus
And loving all others
“He had=the entire contents
Of the book
Of the covenant
That had been found
In the temple=of the Lord
READ OUT to them……..
The KING made
A covenant=before the Lord
That would follow him…….”
2 Kings 23:2-3
Today we read
About King Josiah’s reign
That began at age eight
After his father’s assassination
He turned his nation
BACK TO GOD=MANY
Had forsaken their covenant
With God
I think that is
WHAT we need to do today
IN our country=and in our world
Turn back to God
Turn back to Jesus
WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS
I think most of us
Can AGREE
That God is love=TOTAL LOVE
With his whole heart
HE LOVES US!
We need to turn back to
LOVING GOD AND FAMILY
And all good people
WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS!
I have dedicated my whole life
To loving God=to loving family
With MY WHOLE HEART!
“For I have not hesitated
To proclaim to you
THE WHOLE WILL of God”
Acts 20:27
“For whoever keeps
THE WHOLE LAW
And yet stumbles on one point
Is guilty of
Breaking all of it”
James 2:10
But our God
IS a loving God=A GOD OF MERCY
And forgiveness=
Turning back to God=WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS!
Josiah’s ENCOUNTER=with the Word of God
Led to repentance
He was a MAN OF GOD
Who TURNED his nation back to God
Of him=it is said
“Before him=there had been NO KING
Who TURNED to the Lord
As he did=WITH HIS WHOLE HEART…….”
2 Kings 23:25
Let us FOLLOW King Josiah
And turn back to God
WITH OUR WHOLE HEARTS!
Just as our God
THE GOD OF LOVE=would want
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy Father God!=who
has a TOTALLY LOVING HEART for us
