Today=we HONOR Mary once again

Our example

Our role model

 

And after Jesus=

Our next BEST THING

The mother of Jesus

The mother of the HOLY FAMILY!

 

“Behold-your MOTHER”                                                                                                    John 19:27

 

We all have EARTHLY MOTHERS

My mother=Patricia=was the BEST

She was FULL OF LOVE

For me=my two sisters

And EVERYONE she met

 

How often do we say

“Listen to your Mother”

 

But I remind you today

NOT only to

LISTEN to the BLESSED MOTHER Mary

But to IMITATE HER=and Jesus

TEACH US=TO WALK BY FAITH

Just like you

 

“Therefore=I urge you

TO IMITATE ME”                                                                                                               1 Corinthians 4:16

 

“We do not

Want you to become lazy

But to IMITATE those

 

Through FAITH and patience inherit

What has been promised”                                                                                                  Hebrews 6:12

 

“Remember your leaders

Who spoke=the word of God to you

 

Consider the outcome

Of their way of life

And IMITATE THEIR FAITH”                                                                                            Hebrews 13:7

 

Yes-Mary is our example

And our role model

IN FAITH

 

She TEACHES US

To WALK BY FAITH

 

And let us not forget

Her much suffering

She=and the HOLY FAMILY went through

Particularly Jesus

 

Our Mother Mary

The mother=OF OUR CHRISTIAN FAITH

Was a strong woman

She WALKED by HER FAITH

NOT by sight

 

She did not know

The end of the story

Like we do today

SHE SUFFERED=the way

All mothers do

Because=she endured the suffering

ALONG with her son Jesus

 

Mother Mary

TEACH US=TO WALK BY FAITH

 

“I will instruct you

AND TEACH YOU=in the way

You should go

 

I will counsel you

With my loving eye=on you”                                                                                               Psalm 32:8

 

“But the Advocate-the Holy Spirit

Whom the Father will send

In my name

 

WILL TEACH YOU

In all things

And will remind you=of everything

I have said to you”                                                                                                                   John 14:26

 

Imagine the “WHYS”

Of Mary

As she stood at Jesus’ cross=

Who did ONLY GOOD THINGS

With his life

 

Today we ask Mary

TO TEACH US her way

And to WALK with us in faith

In this life

 

Staying CLOSE to Jesus and Mary

Staying close=to the HOLY FAMILY

In love

 

In Jesus’ name=in the Father’s name=and in the FAITH of Mary and the HOLY FAMILY!
