THE RESTORATION SAINT

(Saint Anthony)

 

We all KNOW=God the Holy Father

And his son Jesus

Is the WAY=to all things

 

But there are SAINTS

That intercede for us

On our behalf=ONE

Of those Saints

Is Saint Anthony=THE RESTORATION SAINT

The saint of the lost

And the saint of the FOUND

 

I often use Saint Anthony

To HELP me find

LOST material things and he

Helped me in this way

Just the other day

 

But MORE than that

OUR WORLD IS LOST

In so many ways=

NOT the least=of which is

The world has LOST GOD

Has stopped=putting our God

NUMBER ONE in their lives

 

RESTORE US=Saint Anthony

Restore us back to

The Holy Father=and to Jesus

THE RESTORATION SAINT!

 

“RESTORE to me

The joy of your salvation

And grant me=a willing spirit

To sustain me”                                                                                                                        Psalm 51:12

 

“Brothers and sisters=if someone

Is caught in a sin

 

You who live=by the Spirit

SHOULD RESTORE

That person gently

 

But watch yourselves

Or you also=may be tempted”                                                                                Galatians 6:1

 

Saint Anthony died June the 13^th

And was buried Tuesday-June 17^th, 1231

His cult was immediate

 

He is invoked as

Patron of the poor=of lovers=of marriage

And of travelers

 

He is prayed to

FOR LOST THINGS=and is the

Apostle for charity=and is

Called upon=in every need

In EVERY kind of way

 

Dear Saint Anthony

I pray to you today

NOT to find lost things

 

But to HELP this world

RESTORE God to number one=in our lives

 

“But if from there=You seek

The Lord your God

 

You will FIND HIM

If you seek him=with all your heart

And with all your soul”                                                                                                      Deuteronomy 4:29

 

“And Saul’s son=Jonathan

Went to David=at Horesh

And helped him

FIND STRENGTH in God”                                                                                                     1 Samuel 23:16

 

“Ask and it will

Be given to you

Seek=and you WILL FIND

 

Knock and the door

Will be opened to you”                                                                                                 Matthew 7:7

 

Saint Anthony= is proclaimed to be

The DOCTOR

Of the gospels

Dear Saint Anthony=OUR RESTORATION SAINT!

 

We pray for you

To HELP and restore our world

To make God=Jesus=and the Holy Spirit

Number ONE in our lives

And in OUR WORLD=once again

 

Saint Anthony=The Restoration Saint!

In Jesus’ name=and in the name of God our Holy Father=and the SPIRIT OF GOD!
