IT IS OUR FATHER=
(WHO REPAYS US)
So many times
WE WANT CREDIT
For what we do
I am just as GUILTY
As anyone else=maybe more so
But sometimes=
We should try to do things
ANONYMOUSLY=without expecting
Or wanting credit
If we do this=IT IS
THE FATHER=WHO REPAYS US!
In whatever way=that he chooses
“But when we GIVE ALMS=
Do not let=your left hand know
What your right is doing……..”
Matthew 6:3
If you do things anonymously
You earn credit=WITH THE FATHER
And he will repay you
In a SPIRITUAL WAY
But don’t get me wrong
It is nice
TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED
For a good deed
It is satisfying=to RECEIVE
A personal thank you
For something=that you did
It is very HUMAN
To want our ACTIONS
To be acknowledged=but
That is NOT
What it is all about
Jesus tells us=there is
ONLY ONE WITNESS
We should be concerned with
And that is=THE FATHER
“…….so that YOUR GIVING
May be in secret
Then your Father
Who sees=what is done in secret
Will reward you”
Matthew 6:4
“The words=
‘IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM’
Was written=not for him alone
But also to us
To whom God will CREDIT righteousness-------
Who believe in him
Who raised=Jesus our Lord
From the dead”
Romans 4:23-24
“But how is it-
TO YOUR CREDIT
If you receive a beating
For doing wrong=and endure it?
But if you suffer=for doing good
And you endure it
This is commendable before God”
1 Peter 2:20
Jesus LIVED his whole life
For others=without reward
Constantly doing good for others
HEALING=PERFORMING MIRACLES
But received no credit
UNTIL the Father resurrected him
IT IS OUR FATHER=
WHO REPAYS US!
“Do not take revenge
My dear friends
But leave room
For God’s wrath=for it is written
‘It is mine to avenge
I will REPAY’=says the Lord”
Romans 12:19
So give anonymously
WHEN you give=knowing IT IS THE FATHER=
WHO REPAYS US!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=0f our GOD GIVING=Holy Father
God!
