A MAN=OF COURAGE AND STRENGTH

 

The other day=

Was the feast day=

OF OUR SAINT JOSEPH

 

He was a MAN=for

HIS TIMES=as well

As these times-

HE HELD his family together

When everything=all things

WETE FALLING APART

He was=A MAN

OF COURAGE AND STRENGTH

 

And for it=

He wound up BEING CALLED

The FATHER of us all

“……..the FATHER

Of many nations”                                                                                                                    Romans 4:18

 

It could have been

So easy= For Joseph to GIVE UP

On Mary=to turn his back on her

 

He was MORE=

Than a kindly old man=people today

Are REDISCOVERING

What a spiritual man=that he was

 

He was an EXAMPLE=for

The FAMILY LIFE=he was

A MAN OF COURAGE=AND STRENGTH

And he never=

GAVE UP=on his family

 

“The following night=The LORD

Stood near Paul

And said=

‘TAKE COURAGE!’”                                                                                                          Acts 23:11

 

“Be on your guard=

Stand firm in the faith=

 

BE COURAGEOUS=

Do everything IN LOVE”                                                                                            1 Corinthians 16:13

 

And that is what=WHO

Saint Joseph was=

A STRONG COURAGEOUS MAN

A man OF LOVE

Who stood up=for his FAMILY

And everything else

 

He stood up FOR HIS FAITH

He stood up=

FOR HIS FAMILY=he was

A humble and holy EXAMPLE

Of faithfulness=

A MAN OF GREAT STRENGTH

 

“The Lord is MY STRENGTH

And my defense=he has

Become my salvation”                                                                                                     Exodus 15:2

 

“For the foolishness=Of God

Is wiser

Than human wisdom

 

And the weakness of God=IS STRONGER

Than HUMAN STRENGTH”                                                                                              1 Corinthians 1:25

 

Mary was the MOTHER=of

THE SON of God=Jesus

 

Doesn’t it make sense

That God=would choose=the VERY BEST

Of Fathers for him

 

He did=he CHOSE

Saint Joseph=A MAN

OF COURAGE AND STRENGTH

A man for FAMILIES=for all of us

The terror of all demons

 

Saint Joseph=is

A MAN FOR OUR TIMES=

AN EXAMPLE=for us all

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name of our PERFECT LOVING=Holy Father God!
