WORTH DYING FOR---WORTH LIVING FOR---?
What do you
Love most in your life
Or
Who do you love
Most in this world
Is it
Are they
Worth dying for
I suggest to you
Anyone or anything
Worth dying for
Is also worth
Living for
I suggest to you---God
Love of God
And love of neighbor
Are dying in this world
This love
This love of God
And the love of one another
Is dying a long
Slow excruciating death
It is dying
This love
The worst kind of death
It is dying
To apathy
It is dying
To coldness and indifference
To ingratitude and lukewarmness
And ultimately
To the rejection of God and each other
In today’s world
To the lack of acknowledgement
Of God and one another
In today’s world
Who or what would you
Give up your life for
IF anyone or anything
“My command is this:
Love one another
As I have loved you
Greater love has no one
Than that he lay down his life
For his friends”
John 15:12-13
Jesus died---for his friends---for us
FOR HIS FRIENDS---for the people of this world
IS HE WORTH LIVING FOR?
