BECAUSE HE LOVED US!
My sisters and I=had an
OLDER NEIGHBOR=when we were
Growing up=Called Marie
She used to say=”it is NOT
Who you love=but
WHO LOVES YOU”
And isn’t that so true=with
Our God the Father
And his Son Jesus=
Jesus came as a SACRIFICE
For all of us=BECAUSE
HE LOVED US!
“THIS IS LOVE=
NOT that we loved God
But that=HE LOVED US
And sent his Son
As an atoning sacrifice
For our sins”
1 John
4:10
Christ’s love has
CHANGED the world for us=
And it gives us=THE OPPORTUNITY
To live eternally=with him
And God the Father
We know we are SPECIAL=
When we look=at the difference
BETWEEN GOD’S LOVE
And human love
God’s love is UNCONDITIONAL=
It is UNFAILING=and it is
NOT DEPENDENT on anything
And it does not change
BECAUSE HE LOVED US!
“The Lord loves
Righteousness and justice=
The earth is full
OF HIS UNFAILING LOVE” Psalm
33:5
“MAY YOUR UNFAILING LOVE=
Be my comfort=according to your promise
To your servant”
Psalm 119:76
“What a person desires
IS UNFAILING LOVE=
Better to be poor=than a liar”
Proverbs 19:22
TOO OFTEN
Human love is CONDITIONAL
It is DEPENDENT=on our status
On our riches=
Or on some PERSONAL TRAIT
But GOD’S LOVE=is UNCHANGING
It doesn’t depend on anything
Would a human being=DIE FOR YOU?
Would they give us
Their lives=LIKE JESUS?=so that
You could live
BECAUSE HE LOVED US!
“Though he brings grief=
He will show compassion
So great=IS HIS UNFAILING LOVE”
Lamentations 3:32
SO TODAY=when you wake up=
Be happy=
BECAUSE HE LOVED YOU!
You are loved=by God
THE HOLY FATHER=by Jesus
And by me
GOD LOVES YOU!=it is unchanging
And UNFAILING!
BECAUSE HE LOVED YOU!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our CONTINUOUS LOVING=Holy
Father God!
