BE READY FOR THE LORD!

 

BE READY FOR THE LORD!

We have no idea

WHEN the Lord is coming back

For the second time

But we do KNOW he is coming

For he told us so

And the Lord

Does NOT lie

“Therefore-stay awake-

For you know

NEITHER the day nor the hour”                                                         Matthew 25:13

We do not know

The date of when

The Lord is coming

Or our own last day on this earth

So we NEED to be READY

For the Lord

We are ONLY guaranteed two moments

In this world-

This moment-and the moment 

GOD CALLS us home

“You will be hated by everyone

Because of me

But the one

Who stands FIRM to the end

Will be SAVED

When you are persecuted

In one place

FLEE to another

Truly I tell you

You will not finish

Going through the towns

Of Israel

Before the SON OF MAN comes.”                                            Matthew 10:22-23

“........BUT the one 

Who stands firm to the end

Will be SAVED

And the gospel

Of the kingdom will be PREACHED

In the whole world

As a TESTIMONY to all nations

And then the end WILL COME”                                                          Matthew 14:13-14

So one way or another

We will have to be READY

For the end

Even if it is due to

Our own mortality-

But the question is:  HOW?

How can we be ready for the end?

For the Lord?

It is just a matter 

Of FOCUSING our thoughts

On the things OF GOD-

The things that matter

God first-and ourselves-

Then our family-our friends-and

ALL OF HUMANITY

We need to live clean lives-

We NEED to love all-

Forgive easily-and tell the TRUTH

We need to FOLLOW GOD'S LAWS-

And not our human drives of

Our own materialism-sexuality-and even KEEP

Our God ABOVE our scientific interests

Dear Lord-help us to be 

READY for the end

To be alert and awake

To live GODLY LIVES

We need to keep ourselves

As healthy as possible

To stay AWAY from addictions-

To alcohol-drugs-pornography

And any other addiction 

That can pull us down

Dear Lord-help us ALWAYS

To be READY for your coming

By LIVING in love-in forgiveness-

In kindness-and living godly lives

Dear Lord-we do our best-

Yet we fail-and we get back up

Nevertheless-LORD=we are as ready

As we can be-FOR YOU

“WAIT for the Lord-

Be strong-and take heart

And wait for the Lord”                                                                                 Psalm 27:14

Dear Lord-we are ready-

WE WAIT for your RETURN Lord
