HE IS BOTH!=Human and Divine
Our Jesus=LIVED
A life=that was
BOTH HUMAN AND DIVINE!
There is=NO ONE ELSE
In the history=of the UNIVERSE
That we can say
That about
Today=we see a MOMENT
When he is BOTH=in
The story of Lazarus
“WHEN Jesus arrived=
He found that Lazarus
Had already been=in the tomb
For four days”
John 11:17
Jesus really LOVED Martha=
Mary=and their bother Lazarus
When he sees others Crying
He is MOVED=
And becomes deeply troubled
We see
THE HUMAN SIDE=of Jesus here
“WHERE have you laid him?”=
Jesus asks
John 11:34
And when he STANDS
OUTSIDE of Lazarus’ tomb=
HE CRYS TOO=
He is TRULY HUMAN
Just like one of us
“Peter and the other apostles=replied
‘We MUST OBEY GOD=
Rather than human beings’”
Acts 5:29
At the same time=
The STORY of Lazarus
Shows us=THE DIVINITY OF JESUS
HE PRAYS=to
His heavenly Father=and
A MIRACLE OCCURS
Lazarus=a dead man=
Stumbles forth
NOW FULLY ALIVE!
Human and divine=
JESUS IS BOTH!
This is WHERE we have
The CLASSIC LINES form Jesus
In John=chapter eleven
“I AM=THE RESURRECTION
And the LIFE
The one=who BELIEVES in me
Will live=even though they die
And whoever lives
By BELIEVING IN ME=
Will never die=do you believe this?” John
11:25-26
And Martha GIVES=a positive RESPONSE
“YES LORD’=she replies
‘I believe=that you are
The Messiah=who is
To come=INTO THE WORLD’” John
11:27
I believe=this is WHY
I had my MIRACLE in life
When I was 22
I believe=In Jesus
AND HIS LOVE for us
With my WHOLE heart and soul
Dear Lord=WE PRAY
That we never doubt
That you ARE BOTH=HUMAN AND DIVINE!
The story of Lazarus=TELLS US SO
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER LIVING=ever
loving=Holy Father God!
