LIVING WITH MERCY=
AND FORGIVENESS
Our God=is a MERCIFUL GOD
Just look at
HIS SON JESUS
He FORGAVE=the entire world
As it
Put him to death
So use THE YARDSTICK
Of God the Father=and his Son Jesus
On your walk=through this life
“For the MEASURE with
Which you MEASURE=
Will in return=BE MEASURED
Out to you”
Luke 6:38
Today’s SCRIPTURES
Calls for us
To live=IN MERCY=FORGIVENESS
And gift-giving to others
It tells us to be NONJUDGMENTAL=
Boy could our world=
Our country=each of us INDIVIDUALLY
Use a DOSE of this=right now
LENT is the time=
To PROBE our hearts
At least a little
And ask ourselves
Are we=LIVING
WITH MERCY AND FORGIVENESS
Towards our brothers and sisters?
“For the Lord your God
Is a MERCIFUL GOD
He will not abandon
Or destroy you=or forget
The covenant with your ancestors
Which he confirmed to them
By oath” Deuteronomy
4:31
“But in your=GREAT MERCY
You did not=put an end
To them=or abandon them
For you are a gracious
AND MERCIFUL GOD” Nehemiah
9:31
HOW EASY it is
For us=to judge someone
Without knowing their heart=
The HEART of another human being
Can we be MERCIFUL=
Even when=it is
TOTALLY UNDESERVED?
LIVING WITH MERCY=AND FORGIVENESS
In this 21st century
“Blessed are the MERCIFUL
For they=will be SHOWN MERCY”
Matthew 5:7
“BE MERCIFUL=
To those who doubt” Jude
:22
It is much harder
To JUDGE SOMEONE=when
We know their heart
When we know THEIR HURTS=
When we KNOW
Another’s life circumstances
We will ALL
Come up SHORT
In this world=so try
Something new
EXTEND THE DIVINE YARDSTICK
LIVING WITH MERCY=AND FORGIVENESS
In today’s world
In Jesus’s name=and in the name=of OUR EVER MERCIFUL=Holy
Father God!
