OUR NEED=FOR RENEWAL
(This Lent)
There is a lot=
GOING ON in this world
And a lot of it=
Isn’t any good
IF there was ever
A NEED=for a time
Of RENEWAL=it is now
This world=our country
And ALL of us individually
And COLLECTIVELY
OUR NEED=FOR RENEWAL=with God
Is for real
“Let us KNOW=
Let us strive=TO KNOW
The Lord”
Hosea 6:3
To RENEW=
We must look deep=WITHIN OURSELVES
And then=we must
OPEN OUR HEARTS
We need to get
IN TOUCH=with our attitudes=
Our thoughts=and our feelings
We must get=to KNOW GOD BETTER
Than ever before
OUR NEED FOR RENEWAL
(This Lent)
“……..who satisfies
Your desires with good things=
So that your youth=IS RENEWED
Like the eagle’s”
Psalm 103:5
“Therefore=we
Do not lose heart=
Though outwardly
We are wasting away=yet inwardly
We are being RENEWED
Day by day”
2 Corinthians 4:16
“Do not conform=
To the pattern=of the world
But be transformed
BY THE RENEWING=of your mind”

We need to GIVE God
And Jesus=our whole selves
This Lent
We need to give them
What they want from us=
OUR LOVE=our mercy towards each other
And our humility=
We really NEED to be
IN TOUCH=with our God=this Lent
“Saul also went
To his home=In Gilead
Accompanied by valiant men
Whose hearts=GOD HAD TOUCHED”

All their sick=to him
And begged him
To let the sick=TOUCH
The edge of his cloak=and all
WHO TOUCHED IT=were healed”

Dear Lord=we come to you
THIS LENT=meek and humble=in heart
Asking you=to heal us
Heal our country=and
Heal our world=we especially
NEED YOUR RENEWAL=in all of us
