NEVER REACHING THE END!
FORGIVENESS is a difficult thing=
And it is COMPLICATED=but today
Jesus tells us=
We MUST FORGIVE 77 times
And our God does=
Fortunately for us=we
NEVER reach the end of
God’s FORGIVENESS AND MERCY
Our God is a=
Forgiving God=and a merciful God
“Lord=if my brother
Sins against me=HOW OFTEN
Must I forgive him?=as many as seven times?’
Jesus answered=
‘I say to you=
NOT seven times=but SEVENTY-SEVEN TIMES’”
Matthew 18:21-22
We all NEED a
Lot of forgiveness=in this world
ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW!
It seems=we ALL
Are going through something
Right now
IF not physical issues=
Some other type of TRAUMA
Or a PROFOUND EMOTONAL HURT
Fortunately for us=
OUR GOD=is a forgiving God
A MERCIFUL GOD
We NEVER=REACH THE END!
Of God’s mercy
“Remember Lord=YOUR GREAT MERCY
And love=for they
Are from of old”
Psalm 25:6
“In his love and MERCY=
He redeemed them=
He lifted them up
And carried them=
All the days of old”
Isaiah 63:9
“And what does
The Lord=require of you?
To act justly=AND TO LOVE MERCY
And to walk humbly
With our God”
Micah 6:8
God’s mercy and love=
NEVER REACHING THE END!
For us=It is too bad
We humans
Can’t be=a little more
Kinder=forgiving=and MERCIFUL
To each other
NEVER REACHING THE END!
God’s forgiveness for us
IS UNCONDITIONAL=
Saint Catherine of Siena
Tells us his mercy=is like
AN ABYSS
And that we will
NEVER REACH THE END
Of GOD’S INFINITE MERCY
“Blessed are the MERCIFUL=
For they=will be SHOWN MERCY”
Matthew 5:7
ALL we can do=
Is TURN OUR HEARTS
OVER=to our Father and Jesus
And pray for a forgiving
And merciful heart=
NEVER REACING THE END!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER FORGIVING=and
MERCIFUL
