BEING HUMBLE=WITH OUR GOD
We should=ALWAYS BE HUMBLE
With our God=we should always
LIVE IN HUMILITY=and know our place
Before=THE ALMIGHTY FATHER GOD
I am=NOT SO SURE=that
That was the case=with
THE RICH YOUNG MAN TODAY
He comes to Jesus=thinking
He has OBSERVED=all the commandments
AND ASKS Jesus=what he must do
TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE
“All these=I HAVE OBSERVED=what
Do I still lack?”
Matthew 19:20
He was=a RIGHTEOUS YOUNG MAN
But he was rich=I don’t think=he expected
Jesus’ ANSWER=as we SOMETIMES DO NOT
BEING HUMBLE=WITH OUR GOD
“Jesus answered’==’if you
Want to be perfect=go=sell your possessions
And give to the poor=and you
Will have TREASURES IN HEAVEN=then
Come follow me’”
Matthew 19:21
We need to BE HUMBLE=with
Our God=it is MORE IMPORTANT
Than having a good credit score
If we want to FOLLOW the Lord=and
BE HUMBLE=we have =to GIVE UP
Some things=we have to=LIVE IN GENEROSITY
And with A HUMBLE HEART
BEING HUMBLE=WITH OUR GOD
“He guides=THE HUMBLE=in
What is right=and he teaches them=his way” Psalm
25:9
“These are the ones=I
Look on with favor=those
WHO ARE HUMBLE=and contrite in spirit
And who tremble=at my word”
Isaiah 66:2
“Take my yoke=upon you
And learn from me=for I am
Gentle=and HUMBLE IN HEART=and you
Will find rest=for your souls”
Matthew 11:29
Evidently=the rich young man
Didn’t want=GOD’S KINGDOM
As much as he said he did
He VALUED earthly riches=more then
THE KINGDOM=of God
How about us=are we
BEING HUMBLE WITH GOD?=are we
Living like=the poor widow?
BEING HUMBLE=WITH OUR GOD!
“HUMBLE YOURSELVES=before the Lord
And he will=lift you up”
James 4:10
How about us=are we=LIVING GENEROUSLY
Like the Lord wants=are we
Making space=making room
FOR OTHERS=in our life?=that is
What we have to do=if we
Want to live=IN THE LORD’S KINGDOM
BEING HUMBLE=WITH OUR GOD!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER HUMBLE and
generous God=who
WELCOMES all=into his Kingdom
