THE FEW=TO THE MANY

 

Did you ever NOTICE=how God

Just USES one person=or a FEW

Before moving on to the MANY?

From the ONE=OR FEW=TO THE MANY

 

God used Jesus=and a couple of HANDFULS of apostles

And God used Abraham and Sarah=Noah=Jacob=and

Moses and Joshua=and he USES a small nation

Of Israelites=to touch and WORK for the world

 

Our Lord=Our Holy Father God=

Wants to USE you and me too

INDIVIDUALS=one on one

Just like he did Moses and Jesus=He wants

The world to HEAR=our personal stories

OF FAITH

 

“The Lord would speak

To Moses=FACE-TO FACE=as one

Speaks to a FRIEND”                                                                                                         Exodus 33:11

 

“Since then=no prophet=has arisen

In Israel=like Moses=when the Lord=KNEW

FACE TO FACE”                                                                                                                     Deuteronomy 34:10

 

I think=the REASON

The Lord does this=

CHOOSES ONE=or works

Through a few is=that the Lord WANTS

A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP=with each one of us

 

He wants us=to think of him

AS OUR FRIEND=he wants us to

BUILD a relationship with him=on TRUST

And to love him

FROM THE FEW=TO THE MANY!

 

“A FRIEND=loves at all times=

And a brother=is born=for

A time of adversity”                                                                                                         Proverbs 17:17

 

And Jesus tells his apostles=as

He tells us today=that we

ARE HIS FRIENDS

 

“Instead=I have

CALLED YOU FRIENDS=for everything

That I have learned=from My FATHER=I

Have made known to you”                                                                                              John 15:15

 

And in Matthew=Jesus REITERATES

How he works from

THE FEW=TO THE MANY

 

“For where=TWO OR THREE=

Are gathered in my name=there I am

IN the midst of them”                                                                                                       Matthew 18:20

 

And so WHOEVER you are=whatever

Is going on=in your life=UNDERSTAND this

It is not always=about the numbers

 

It is about=having

A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP=with Jesus

And God our Holy Father=and

A CHANGED HEART

 

It is then=that you

CAN take GOD’S PERSONAL MESSAGE=to you

To others=and the world

FROM THE FEW=TO THE MANY!

In God and in Jesus

 

Today=Jesus=CALLS YOU FRIEND!

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER FRIEND AND TEACHER=our Holy Father God!
