RESPONDING TO THE INVITE=TOO
IF you are=like
Most of us=you get invited to
Weddings=to baptisms=to birthday parties
And WHO KNOWS what all=and typically
We RESPOND with an RSVP
But with God=we have
A STANDING INVITATION=into
Jesus’ Kingdom=we don’t
Have to do anything=but
LOVE HIM BACK!
RESPONDING=TO THE INVITE!=
Of the Lord
“……Nathaniel said=’CAN ANYTHING good
Com from Nazareth?’=Philip said to him=
‘Come and see’”
John
1:46
And so like=our Lord=if you
Haven’t already come=I INVITE YOU
To come to the Lord=I invite you
To taste the LORD’S LOVE=and goodness
“TASTE and see=that the Lord
Is good=Blessed is the one
Who takes refuge in him”
Psalm 34:8
“But we do see Jesus=who
Was made=lower than the angels
For a little while=now
Crowned with glory and honor=
Because he suffered death=so that
By the grace of God=he might TASTE death
For everyone”
Hebrews 2:9
I echo Philip’s INVITATION=I
Echo Jesus’ invitation=to “COME AND SEE”
And feel his love=RESPONDING TO THE INVITE!=TOO
Again and again=Jesus’ invites us
TO KNOW HIM=to walk with him
To love him=and to SHARE in his kingdom
RESPOND TO THE INVITE!=TOO
Respond to his words
RESPONDING TO THE INVITE!=walk with the Lord
IN our world today
“Even though=I WALK
Through the darkest valley=I
Will fear no evil=for you
Are with me=Your rod
And your staff=uphold me”
Psalm 23:4
“Come descendants of Jacob=
LET US WALK=in the light=of the Lord”
Isaiah 2:5
So RESPOND TO=
THE LORD’S INVITATION!=be his
MODERN 21st century apostles
Walk with him=PRAY WITH HIM
Find your HOPE IN HIM!=the
Lord our God
RESPONDING=TO THE INVITE TOO!
In today’s world
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER
INVITING=FOREVER LOVING
Holy Father God!
