BEING RECEPTIVE=TO GOD’S PLAN

 

It can be argued=

That OUTSIDE=of Jesus himself

 

That his MOTHER MARY=is

The most important PERSON

In all of HUMAN HISTORY

 

She said yes=She was RECEPTIVE

To the PLAN OF GOD=

BEING RECEPTIVE=TO GOD’S PLAN!

 

“When Elizabeth=heard Mary’s greeting

The BABY leaped in her womb

And Elizabeth was FILLED with the Holy Spirit

 

In a loud voice=she exclaimed

‘BLESSED are you=among women=and

BLESSED is the child=you will bear!’”                                                                                       Luke 1:41-42

 

In Mary=God not only finds the body

To bear HIS SON=but he also FINDS=a willing heart

THAT IS RECEPTIVE=

To the plan of God

 

How about us= do we listen to God

With an OPEN HEART=do we RESPOND POSITIVELY

When God=CALLS ON US=for his plan

For our lives?

 

“Heal the sick=raise the dead

Cleanse those=who have leprosy=drive out demons

Freely you have RECEIVED=freely give”                                                                                          Matthew 10:8

 

“FOR I RECEIVED=from the Lord

What I=also passed on to you

 

The Lord Jesus=on the night=

He was betrayed…….”                                                                                                                  1 Corinthians 11:23

 

Mary and Elizabeth=SHOW JOY

That they are picked out=by

The Holy Father God

 

To PARTICIPATE=in the PLAN of God

For their lives=and that OUR FATHER God

Is going to use them

 

God has a plan=for our lives too

Are we BEING RECEPTIVE=to God’s plans

For our lives?=Are we SHOWING JOY?

 

“SHOUT FOR JOY=to God

All the earth!=Sing the glory

Of his name=Make his praise glorious”                                                                              Psalm 66:1

 

“Your statutes=are my heritage forever

They are=THE JOY=of my heart”                                                                                Psalm 119:111

 

Mary is RECEPTIVE to the plan

God has=for her life=she placed

Her life=at the Lord’s SERVICE

 

How about us=do we say YES=to God

When he calls on us?=do we=RESPOND IN JOY

LIKE MARY?

 

“GLADNESS AND JOY=will overtake them

And sorrow and sighing=will flee away”                                                                       Isaiah 51:11

 

This is what=Mary and Elizabeth teach us=

JOY=and being of SERVICE to God=and to others

BEING RECEPTIVE!=TO GOD”S PLAN=for our lives

 

After all=JOY is=

ONE of the FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever JOYFUL=Holy Father God!
