BOLD FAITH!=CAN DO WONDERS

 

BOLD FAITH=CAN DO WONDERS

 

Sometimes=we have to be

BOLD IN OUR FAITH=sometimes we have to

SPEAK OUT LOUDLY=To Jesus

About want we want=about what we need

 

That was the case today=

With the=Canaanite woman

Who desired a HEALING=for her daughter

BOLD FAITH=can do WONDERS=for our cause

 

“And behold=a Canaanite woman=of that district

Came and called out=

‘Have pity on me=Lord-Son of David’”                                                                                        Matthew 15:22

 

It was totally UNEXPECTED=that a

GENTILE WOMAN=would come to Jesus=The Messiah

Calling on him as-“LORD”

 

At first Jesus balks=then he listens

To her plea=HER BOLD FAITH=In him

And her desperation=for a MIRACLE

TOUCHES Jesus’ heart

 

At the same time=when we

Are in DESPERATION=we have to speak BOLDLY

To Jesus too

BOLD FAITH=CAN DO WONDERS!

 

“The wicked put up=A BOLD FRONT

But the upright=give thought=to their ways”                                                                             Proverbs 21:29

 

“The wicked flee=though no one pursues=but

The righteous=are as BOLD=as a lion”                                                                                        Proverbs 28:1

 

“Now Lord=consider their threats=and

Enable your servants=to speak your word

WITH GREAT BOLDNESS”                                                                                                          Acts 4:29

 

So whatever you NEED from God

From Jesus=don’t be afraid to=speak up

WITH GREAT COURAGE=don’t be afraid to

ASK JESUS BOLDLY=for that MIRACLE

 

For that health cure=LIKE

In our reading today=for your FINANCIAL NEEDS

That you have=and for that healing=IN

A difficult relationship that you seek

BOLD FAITH!=CAN DO WONDERS!

 

“Listen to this Job=Stop

And consider=GOD’S WONDERS”                                                                                         Job 37:14

 

“Show me=THE WONDERS

Of your great love=You who save

By your right hand=those who take refuge

In you=from their foes”                                                                                                       Psalm 17:7

 

We can be HUMBLE=yet be BOLD

In our FAITH=And IF we are

 

God may show us=GREAT MERCY=love

And much more=Just like he did

With the Canaanite woman=and her daughter

This may LEAD to a miracle for you and me

BOLD FAITH!=CAN DO WONDERS                                                                                             

 

And so dear Lord=may we SHOW that same

Love and mercy to others=Like Jesus today

 

As FOLLOWERS of Jesus=we must FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE=of him

BOLD FAITH=CAN DO WONDERS!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name==of our Holy and ever Wonderous MIRACLE WORKING FATHER!
