JUST LIKE=IT WAS JESUS                 

 

Growing up=My mom and dad=my sisters=our FAMILY

Always had cousins=friends and neighbors=in our house=

And they were always TREATED WITH LOVE=Just like

THEY WERE JESUS=”As you ENTER a house=wish it PEACE”                                                   Matthew 10:12

 

How about you?=Do you welcome GUESTS=into your house=

JUST LIKE IT WAS JESUS?=Like they were a son or daughter=

Of the Lord MOST HIGH=TREAT them with love and respect

Just LIKE THEY ARE JESUS!

 

Shake their hands=GIVE the a HUG=tell them you

LOVE THEM=say=”WELCOME=I am glad to see you”

 

“Therefore=whoever takes the lowly position=OF THIS CHILD=

Is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven=and

WHOEVER WELCOMES=one such child=in my name=WELCOMES ME”                               Matthew 18:5

 

“Anyone who WELCOMES them=shares in their wicked work”                                             2 John:11

 

It is up to us=TO WELCOME=All those who come=into our home=

Like they were Jesus Christ=like they were a DISTINGUISED GUEST=

JUST LIKE THEY WERE JESUS!

 

TREAT them with respect=with LOVE=with kindness=and with

Hospitality=”Share with the Lord’s people=who are in need

PRACTICE HOSPITALITY”                                                                                                                           Romans 12:13

 

“Do not=forget TO SHOW HOSPITALITY=to strangers for by

So doing some people=have SHOWN HOSPITALITY=to angels

Without know it”                                                                                                                                      Hebrews 13:2

 

“Above all=love each other deeply=because love covers a

Multitude of sins=OFFER HOSPITALITY=to one another without

Grumbling”                                                                                                                                                   1 Peter 4:9

 

The Saint=we honor today=is SAINT BENEDICT=in his RULE=he

Said that all guests=should be treated=JUST LIKE Jesus Christ himself

 

You never know=who YOU are INTERACTING WITH=so honor

All people with LOVE=kindness and respect=for Jesus was ONE of us=

JUST LIKE IT WAS JESUS!

 

“But the Lord declares=’Far be it from me!=Those who HONOR ME=

I WILL HONOR=but those who despise me=Will be disdained’”                                              1 Samuel 2:30

 

“You have made them=a little lower=than the angels=He

Crowned them=with glory AND HONOR”                                                                                     Psalm 8:5

 

“You were bought at a price=THEREFORE HONOR GOD=with

Your bodies”                                                                                                                                              1 Corinthians 6:20

 

I HAVE FORGOTTEN=much of what I have learned=in this life=but

I have NEVER FORGOTTEN=what my mom and dad=and what Jesus

Have taught me

 

WELCOME YOUR GUESTS=with love and respect=TREAT them all

JUST LIKE=THEY WERE JESUS!=Welcome all!

Our ever welcoming=LIVING FATHER!
