THE STORMS OF LIFE=KEEP CALM

 

 

 

 

THE STORMS OF LIFE=WILL COME

(Keep Calm)!

 

Today=we read about A STORM=on the water

And the apostles=are anything=BUT CALM

 

“Suddenly=A FURIOUS STORM=came up=on the lake

So that the waves=swept OVER the boat=But Jesus was

Sleeping=the disciples=went and woke him=saying’=Lord

Save us=We’re going to drown’”                                                                                                  Matthew 8:24-25

 

“Then Jesus said’=’You of LITTLE FAITH=why are

You so afraid?’”                                                                                                                                     Matthew 8:26

 

Which brings us=TO OUR QUESTION=What are WE

Going to do=WHEN THE STORMS OF LIFE=come upon

Us?=when we get older=like me=and OUR HEALTH begins

To fail=When our FINANCES are out=and when=OUR FAMILY

And friendship relationships are DISSOLVING?

 

Are we going=to STAY IN THE CALM?=in the palms

Of our Lord’s hands=or are we GOING TO PANIC=like

The apostles did?=the STORMS OF LIFE=will come upon

ALL of us=KEEPING CALM=with the Lord=staying at PEACE!

 

“Fools give full vent=to their rage=but the wise

BRING CALM=in the end”                                                                                                               Proverbs 29:11

 

“Love and faithfulness=meet together=Righteousness

AND PEACE=kiss each other”                                                                                                 Psalm 85:10

 

“PEACE=I leave with you=MY PEACE I give you=I do not

Give to you=as the world gives=Do NOT let your hearts be

Troubled=do not be afraid”                                                                                                            John 14:27

 

The APOSTLES fear=was evident=and it surprises me

For a COUPLE OF REASONS=Many of them were fishermen

And they had SEEN STORMS BEFORE=so it must have been

Some storm=with high winds and waves=and SECONDLY

 

WHERE=is their faith=They have already SEEN many miracles=

And HEALINGS=and diseases cured=HOW ABOUT US?=when

The STORMS OF LIFE hit us=what KIND OF FAITH=what kind

Of CALM and peace=will we have?=Will we REMAIN CALM?

Will we be CONFIDENT=in the Lord=for us?

 

“For you have been my HOPE=Sovereign Lord=MY CONFIDENCE

Since my youth”                                                                                                                             Psalm 71:5

 

“The fruit=of the righteousness=will be PEACE=its effect=

Will be quietness=and CONFIDENCE FOREVER”                                                                    Isaiah 32:17

 

“Now FAITH IS CONFIDENCE=in what we hope for=and

Assurance about=what we do not see”                                                                                Hebrews 11:1

 

And so=MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS=STORMS OF

Life=will attack us all=Those health crises=the financial CROSSES

And the RELATIONSHIP WOES=

 

STAY CALM and confident=in the faith=REMAIN AT PEACE=In

The Lord=and IN the Holy Father God=and the STORMS OF LIFE

Will NOT take you down

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=OF OUR FOREVER LOVING=forever living

Ever Victorious=Holy Father God!
