A GREATER GOOD
Have you evr seen something
BAD in life=where God USES IT
To bring out
A GREATER GOOD?
That is the story of Joseph
That is the story=of
JOSEPH and his BROTHERS
"Even though
You meant HARM to me
God meant it
FOR GOOD......." Genesis 50:20
After Jacob dies=
His sons=fear that Joseph
Will seek REVENGE
Against them-
For selling him into slavery
But Joseph tells then
NOT to fear=
He assures them
That he will PROVIDE
For them=and their families
A GREATER GOOD is coming=
It STRETCHES the mind
And TOUCHES the heart
That Joseph could FORGIVE
His brothers so completely
THe ANSWER lies in
The above quote
He-Joseph-does not
DENY the wrong
They did=but he sees
The BIGGER PICTURE NOW
Can you see
The bigger picture
IN YOUR OWN LIFE?
"He replied=
'You are talking
Like a fooloish woman
Shall we ACCEPT GOOD
From God=and not trouble?'" Job 2:10
"For the Lord God
Is a sun=and shield
The Lord bestows
Favor and honor
No GOOD THING
Does he withhold-from those
Whose walk is blameless" Psalm 84:11
"THis is
What the Lord says
'Stand at the crossroads
And look-
Ask for the ancient paths
Ask where the GOOD WAY' is
And walk in it
And you will find rest
For your souls" Jeremiah 6:16
Theres is an OLD Portuguese
Saying=that says
"God writes straight
With crooked lines"
Even when we are imperpect=
Even when we are wrong=
God can BRING GOOD
Out of it=
A GREATER GOOD!
"What GOOD is it
For someone
To gain the whole world-
Yet forfeit their soul?" Mark 10:36
My life started out
Really bad=but I have LIVED
Through all of my tears
And hopefully touched you=
In some way=as you all
HAVE TOUCHED ME
LIfe acn be UGLY=
But GOD can always
Bring about=A GREATER GOOD
In our life
GOOD from evil=
Success from failure=I hope
That is WHAT you
Are seeing in your life
In Jesus' name=and in the name=of our ever GOOD HOLY FATHER!
