THE COURAGE TO GO ON!

 

We are all facing many OBSTACLES

In our life=we all have

Many things

That get in the way

OF OUR DREAMS!

 

The question is=are we

Going to face them

And KEEP moving on=

And forward=with our Lord

And savior Jesus Christ-

And our HOLY FATHER!

 

“……..the Lord swept

The sea=with a strong east wind

Throughout the night

And so turned it

Into dry land”                                                                                     Exodus 14:21

 

WHEN we are in

Love with God=we want to go

WHEREVER he goes=

Wherever he wants us to go

 

But then there are

Those other moments

When life is LESS LOVELY=

When OBSTACLES get in our way

 

CAN WE face the music?

Can we find the COURAGE?

Can we

Keep moving forward

With our love?

 

THE COURAGE TO GO ON!

The courage to face any

And ALL OBSTACLES

 

“Therefore let us-

Stop passing judgment

On one another

 

Instead make up your mind

Not to put

Any stumbling block

OR OBSTACLE

 

In the way of a brother

Or sister”                                                                                    Romans 14:13

 

“I urge you

Brothers and sisters

To watch out=for those

 

Who cause division

And PUT OBSTACLES

In your way

 

That are contrary

To the teaching

You have learned=

Keep away from them”                                                                         Romans 16:17

 

Sometimes the question

Can be=NOT to turn back-

But WHEN should we turn back?

 

We ask ourselves=

‘Have I gone the wrong way”=or

“Has God misled me?”

 

But with HELP from God

And others

We FIND THE COURAGE

TO GO ON!

 

We find the FAITH

To keep moving forward=

How else could

The Israelites

 

Have met the immeasurable obstacle

Of the great Red Sea

 

They had the LEADERSHIP of

God the Holy Father

And Moses=and many years

Of spiritual training

 

They had the WORD OF God

To sustain them=

They had courage=

THE COURAGE TO GOD ON!

 

“The following night

The Lord stood=

Near Paul and said

“TAKE COURAGE!”                                                                                 Acts 23:11

 

“Be on your guard=stand firm=

In the faith

 

BE COURAGEOUS=be strong=

Do everything in love”                                                                           1 Corinthians 16:13

 

Dear Lord=we pray

That in the face of

Insurmountable OBSTACLES

 

We keep the COURAGE

TO KEEP GOING ON!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever LEADING GOD the Father!
