SEEING GOD'S VISION!
Jesus was the
ULTIMATE VISIONARY=he preached
A NEW WAY=and his way
SUPERSEDED the old way
He defended the GOSPEL
With his ways in life=
And his life was given
A THUNDEROUS EXCLAMATION POINT
With his death=on the cross
He had GOD'S VISION
For this world=and
The PEOPLE of his time
Didn't see things his way
He was the ultimate visionary=
SEEING GOD'S VISION!
"Off with you-VISIONARY........" Amos 7:12
The Old Testament priest-Amaziah
Ordered the prophet Amos
To leave the city
He called Amos
A VISIONARY=
But then he dismissed him
As a dreamer=impractical=
And a FALSE prophet
But biblical history today
KNOWS Amos as a
TRUE and dedicated prophet=
Who preached a
MUCH NEEDED MESSAGE
Amos was a VISIONARY
Who looked beyond
The STATUS QUO
As all visionaries do
AS CHRISTIANS=
We too are called to LOOK
And see what could be=
And ACHIEVE an even
More excellent SPIRITUAL LIFE
SEEING GOD'S VISION!
"........to put an end
To sin=to atone
For wickedness=to bring
An everlasting righteousness=
To seal up VISION
And prophecy-and to anoint-
The Most Holy High Place" Daniel 9:24
"So then=King Agrippa=
I was not disobedient
TO THE VISION=from heaven" Acts 26:19
True Christians=see GOD'S VISION
They live=a different way
They live with the
FRUIT of life=
With the
FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT
"But the FRUIT of
THE SPIRIT=is love=joy
Peace=forbearance=kindness
Goodness=faithfulness=gentleness=
And self-control
Against such things=
There is no law" Galatians 5:22-23
SEEING GOD'S VISION
Seeing Christ's vision=
Living with the
SPIRIT OF GOD
In our heart
We often hear about
"THE AMERICAN DREAM"=
But what about=CHRIST'S VISION
For our world
Kindness=love=and peace
The Lord's vision is
The Lord's Prayer=
"Thy kingdom come........on earth
As it is in heaven"
Let us all SEE and live
GOD'S VISION=in this world
In Jesus' name=and in the name =of our ALWAYS LOVING HOLY FATHER!
