GOD WILL PROVIDE!
Have you ever
NEEDED something so badly=
When you just didn’t know how
You were going
To make it through?
That has been the case
For me=many times
And God has always
PROVIDED FOR ME
How about you?
Has God PROVIDED FOR YOU?
Has God ever given
You something=to get by
Has he ever provided for you?
That is the case TODAY
In our reading=
The children of
Were struggling-
They NEEDED food to survive
And God PROVIDED
“Here in the desert
The whole assembly
Of the children of
Grumbled against Moses and Aaron
They said……..=’you had
To lead us-into the desert
To make the whole community
Die of famine!’
Then the Lord
Said to Moses
‘I will now rain down
BREAD FROM HEAVEN for you’” Exodus:16:2, 3, 4
The last year and a half
From Covid=has seemed
Like some kind of desert
Each of us being CHALLENGED
To NOURISH our spirit=
MOST of us having survived
GOD HAS PROVIDED
For us yet again=
HOW has God provided
For you and your FAMILY
This last year and a half?
How has God
PROVIDED for you
On a daily BASIS?
“Abraham answered=
‘God himself will PROVIDE
The lamb=for the burnt offering
My son
And the two of them
Went on together” Genesis 22:8
“The wild animals
Honor me-
The jackals and the owls
Because I PROVIDED WATER
In the wilderness……..” Isaiah 43:20
Yes the Lord PROVIDES US
With the sun every day=
And food and water=
He gives us
EVERYTHING WE NEED
To survive
He gives us FAMILY
He gives us FRIENDS=
He SENDS
And smiles
That PROVIDE US with warmth
GOD nourishes our SPIRIT
With everything=that we need=
With loving hearts=and smiling eyes
Yes friends=the Lord
Does nourish us
The LORD PROVIDES
GOD WILL PROVIDE!
“Command those
Who are rich
In this present world
Not to be arrogant-
Nor to put their hope
In wealth
Which is so uncertain
But to put their hope
In God
WHO RICHLY PROVIDES US
With everything
For our enjoyment” 1 Timothy 6:17
GOD DOES PROVIDE FOR US!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS PROVIDING HOLY FATHER GOD!
